Description

There is very intersting category of sacral structures: little shrines hanging on a tree, usually on forest trails. They usually don't serve for cult purposes, neither they separate the 'inside' from 'outside'. Their purpose is mostly to remember the wanderer about the God. They usually have a form of a little house, with cross or holy statue inside. Often they have some maxime.

Please post only shrines mounted on a tree. Don't post shrines that were already posted. Add at least one picture, together with exact coordinates.

This is a virtual Safari-Cache. It isn't placed on any predefined location, but can be logged anywhere. The given coordinates are only an example

The location of example log (from listing) is:

N49 21.235 E11 12.448

The shrine is located on the foot trail to Schwarzachtal. The maxime says, that there are many ways that lead to God, and one of them leads through mountains.
