Our second cache in the Uecker-Randow area offers beautiful views to the Neuwarp lake, to the Riether Island and to the villages Altwarp (Germany) and Neuwarp (Poland).

It's possible to go by car to the cache location but we propose to leave the car in the village Rieth and have a little walk. For bikers the area offers a good system of bikeways.
The Cache is maintained by Regina und Gerhard who live nearby.

OC-Team 22 April 2023 Schatzforscher has archived the cache

Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und die Logs auf geocaching.com (GCM0AK) lassen darauf schließen, dass der Cache nicht mehr zu finden ist. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbstständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

Auf unserem Heimweg vom Kurzurlaub am Haff, haben wir noch einen Abstecher zu diesem Cache gemacht. Obwohl der Cache schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, war er noch auffindbar - allerdings ist die Dose nicht mehr wasserdicht, sodass das Logbuch schon etwas in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurde. Vielleicht spendiert hier jemand mal eine neue Dose.

Die Lokation ist jedenfalls eine echte Empfehlung! Gleich nebenan auf der Beobachtungsplattform hat man einen guten Blick aufs Wasser!
