Plakias
In the Plaka Bay near Plakias you can find 2 big holes in the mountains. These big holes are a part of a tunnel system from the german army in WWII to discharging ships.
Visit the tunnel and the holes. It's very interesting! You can enter the tunnel without a flashlight, but we think its better to take one with you! To find the cache you don't must go in the tunnel system!
You can parking by N35° 10.995 E024° 24.065. From there you have to find a way above the beach! Look for an entrance to a bunker, this will help you! This way will take you to the entrance of the tunnel system.
From the cache you have a wonderful view about the Plaka Bay and Plakias!
Note on cache maintenance:
We have friends in Plakias (Crete). This friends know the original cache place and will maintain the cache. Maintanance will be every 4 weeks or if it is needed.

Today we did a walk to the tunnels of Plakias and so we had also some time to search for some caches 😉
Here it was a quick find 🙂
The cache is in a good condition; the logbook too 👍

Raubritter
ha trovato la geocache
Bei zahlreichen Touren mit meinem geliebten Binchen auf Kreta besuchten wir viele interessante, besondere und hübsche Caches.
Auch von diesem hier wurden wir mit angezogen. Gefunden haben wir ihn sehr gut und der Log war schnell erledigt.
Für das Legen deines Caches "Plakias" und die damit verbundene Arbeit für das Pflegen und Warten bedankt sich Raubritter beim Owner St.D.+Rennschnegge !
Somit gibt es nun ein weiteres hübsches gelbes Smilie auf der Cacherlandkarte.
Dies war mein Cache Nummer 10876 !

PS: ich plaziere mein Stempel oder Lognamen nicht immer an chronologisch letzter Stelle im Logbuch, sondern nutze auch leere Seiten oder Plätze weiter vorne um Leerstellen auszufüllen. Schon alleine aus Rücksicht dem Owner gegenüber um sinnlose frühzeitige Wartungsarbeiten zu vermeiden.
