Description
The construction work for viaduct between the stations "Spittelmarkt" and the "Schönhauser Allee" began in the year 1910 and was final after three years construction period. The entire overhead railway plant, which exhibits a length of 1,7 km, was opened on 27 July 1913. Since this time the berlin citizens called the viadukt "Magistratsschirm". "Magistrat" stand for the earlier name of the citizens of Berlin government (today "Senat") and "Schirm" (umbrella) with a walk in the Schönhauser Allee you can save the umbrella, with rain you simply change on the footpath under the overhead railway.
You'll find this micro between the two overhead railway stations "Eberswalder Straße" und "Schönhauser Allee" (red Line U2), with is fastened with a magnet.
Afterwards you should run 500 meters toward the south up to the famous lunch Konnopke (based 1930) and order a "Berliner Currywurst mit Schrippe".

Ich war heute das 3. Mal da und dieses Mal habe ich nicht gesucht, sondern es ist mir "ins Auge gesprungen".

Schnell gefunden, bevor ich in die U-Bahn gestiegen. Unter den Gleisen ist es wenigstens Schnee- und Eisfrei. TFTC!
