You can go straight for the above coordinates, but you'll miss two interesting places.
- Old railway crossing at N49°36.499' E11°0.007'
- At this place the road to Baiersdorf crossed the railway. It was a popular outing destination in the 19th century. You had a nice view on the southern end of the railway tunnel with its guarding sphinxes.
- The Railway Bridge at N49°36.48' E11° 0.002'
- This is still te original bridge build in the 19th century. But perhaps its days are counted. Additional tracks will be build in about 2010. I don't know, if they will build an additional bridge or replace this bridge with a wider one. But the view will definitely be lost like the one on the tunnel.
Don't cross the railway tracks! The trains are going really fast at this point and you won't see them coming! And it's really not necessary!

Ich gebe diesen OC-only zur Adoption frei. WerInteresse hat, schicke mir eine Nachricht. Allerdings ist der Cache nicht so erhaltenswert.

Wie, laut Murphy, üblich bin ich natürlich zuerst von der falschen Seite gekommen. Doch trotz der hohen Außentemperaturen habe ich mich vor der Flussdurchquerung gescheut und musste dann eben außen herum.
Nach etlichen Extrametern gelang es mir dann aber problemlos den Cache zu finden.
