2nd Austrian motorcycle event

Due to the positive feedback from the first motorcycle event we have decided to organise such an event for this year as well.
Again every geocacher, who likes to combine geocaching and motorbiking, is invited to join this event.
Who is allowed to join:
Everybody showing up with a motorbike or a motorbike with sidecar (not moped with red registration) is welcome.
We don’t want to exclude any group of motorbike riders, no matter if it is a chopper, touring bike, race bike, scooter or enduro.
Why:
We would like to ride a short tour together and exchange some experiences about motorbike-caching.
Agenda:
We will meet at 11:30 in Gloggnitz for a short motorbiking tour.
The tour will end at an inn where we have reserved a table.
Meeting point N47° 40.387 E15° 56.787:
Please refuel your bike before arrival. There is a petrol startion just opposite the meetingpoint.
We have selected a meetingpoint where it should be possible to keep an eye on your motorbike while having a coffe.
Tour:
The exact route is a surprise and stays secret until the meeting.
As guidance you can calculate with an overall length of approximately 150km.
We will adjust the speed to the slowest bike(er).This should not be a reason for anybody to stay at home!
If the group exceeds more than 16 bikes we will split up in two groups.

The event will end at the Retteneggerhof in Rettenegg.www.retteneggerhof.atThose who do not like to ride home afterwards should reserve rooms there.
Until 15th of March we have pre reserved some rooms. Please use the codeword GEOCACHING if you want to confirm the reservation there.

Was soll ich sagen - "besser könnt ich's auch nicht machen"
Die Rundfahrt hat Spass gemacht, alle Teilnehmer haben sich ausgezeichnet benommen (auch danach - selbst bei den Salzburger Nockerln ist es nicht zum befürchteten Eklat gekommen - es war genug für alle da).
Das Publikum war schön gemischt, von Schotterfreaks über Straßenbecher bis hin zum 125er-Roller - nur ein Quotenchopper hat gefehlt.
Wenn Faustus sich jetzt noch entscheiden würde, ob er Nummer 3 im September 2008 oder erst 2009 aufstellt...

FTL! (first to log [;)])
Das war ein Motorradevent, wie man in sich nur wünschen kann:
- perfekte Organisation
- nette KollegInnen
- ausgezeichnete Tourguides
- schönes Wetter (ich habe die Heizgriffel fast nicht gebraucht [:o)])
- sehr schöne Routen
- ausreichend und nette Cacherpausen
- gutes Essen beimn Ziel
Alles wirklich perfekt!
Vielen Dank und hoffentlich gibt's wieder was aus dieser Serie!

Perfektes Event, Kompliment an die Organisatoren.
Und auch die nicht beeinflussbaren Teilnehmer wie Wettergott und Wr. Motorradverleihe, die zufällig leider nur noch ein gemütliches Motorrad zur Verfügung stellen konnten, haben ihr bestes getan, um das Wochenende zu perfektionieren.

(Wie erwartet) war es ein wirklich toller Tag.
Eigentlich wars sogar noch besser als gedacht!
In der Gruppe mit Frustus, JulieWood, BTW, Jo(lira) und Fautus, war auch das Tempo gerade richtig.
(wenn wir nicht gerade von Kühen aufgehalten wurden)
Route, Caches, der "gemütliche" Teil und (vor allem) die Teilnehmer waren echt super!
Danke an die Organisatoren!!!
Freue mich schon auf das nächste mal!!!

Hallo Miteinander Oh wunder, wir waren auch dabei [:-)]. Es hat uns gefreut wieder so viele altbekannte Gesichter zu sehen, aber haben uns über die neuen Bekanntschaften auch gefreut. Frustus, da hast du einen super Strecken Coach gehabt Angi (Gelbe BMW F800GS) und Martin (Rote Yamaha TDM 850)
