| Eine Cacheserie zur Oberösterreichischen Landesausstellung 2008 im Salzkammergut The Trinkhalle was completed in 1831 as a brine-bath by the architect Franz Lößl following a suggestion by Dr. Wirer who is generally considered to be the founder and promotor of Bad Ischl as a spa resort. Brine baths were greatly in fashion at that time and archduchess Sophie of Austria, mother of the later emperor Franz Joseph I, attributed the birth of her first son to the Ischl brine having had two miscarriages before.

A Microcache opposite of the Trinkhalle. The cache can be seen from many locations - please be very stealthy when looking for and when removing the cache. Please don't use brute force when removing the logbook - just gently squeeze the container on the narrow size and the logbook will easily come out. | |||
