Nächtliche Schatzsuche in der Häusellohe

Near the starting coordinates you can find a parking space. You cannot reach that place when coming from Siedlung Süd/Vorwerk; it is accessible only via Buchwald!

This is a cache depending on time which is only available at night. Because of that you should be at the starting point at about 20:00 h - from 03.04.10 about 22:00 h to reach stage 1 speedily. After that you can take up as much time as you want to...

The way through the Häusellohe by night
Beginning at the starting point, a reflector route will lead you through the forest. It starts with a triangular reflector labeled with "S" (Start). All in all there are 5 stages which are numbered serially from 1 to 5. Close by a labeled reflector (1 - 5) in the form of an asterisk, you will find some important advice. Shortly before you will reach a stage, there will be an unlabeled asterisk to inform you that there is a stage a few metres ahead.
At the end of the reflector route you will find a triangular reflector labeled with "Z". Here you will find some important information to reach the finish.

• The forest and Häusellohe are hunting-grounds - for your own benefit it is important to keep your lamp lit.
• In winter the cache is available in principle, but you should reckon that there may be considerable obstacles, for example snow banks.
• It is nowhere necessary to leave the forest paths on a large scale with the exception of the final place.
• A headlamp and/or a pocket lamp are/is enough to be successful. Please keep your floodlight and similar things at home - you will not need them.
• To assure the maximum visibility of the reflectors, it is recommended to keep the lamp at eye level.
• A compass and a pencil could be useful.
• The clearer the way, the less numerous the reflectors are.
• Take care of yourself!
• Distance of about 5 kilometres, time needed 1.5 - 2 hours.

Last but not least: Please do not remove logbook, pencil, sharpener and silica gel.
