Description    Deutsch  ·  English

There were castles and knights, that of course also in the "Rhineland". Today the still preserved castles are either a private property or they are defeated by the state care and are often listed. To hide a Cache there is almost impossible. And with the existing danger of "Muggles" this is also unsuitable. But if you want to drink, however, a little like a knight, you can smash, after you have lifted the Cache, two routes to "beer castles": "Brown beer" in the cloister of Knechtsteden or "light beer" in the cloister of Langwaden. To get the exact co-ordinates, only the respective tones must be "translated" into figures.

The notes of "Yes so warn it, oidn Rittersleut" - see hand-painted "special issue" of the song - lead to the hiding place of the Cache. The notes of H to D2 of the melody are encoded as follows with figures: H=0, C1=1, D1=2, E1=3, F1=4, G1=5, A1=6, H1=7, C2=8, D2=9. The coding occurs in such a way:

Example.... 3rd note in tact 2nd  - solution: the 3rd note in tact 2 is a D1, this means 2 as a figure.

Only the last 3 figures the N and E co-ordinate are searched.

N: 3. note in tact 11, 1. note in tact 12, 4. note in tact 11

E: 4. note in tact 11, 2. note in tact 2, 4. note in tact 7
