Im Altlayer Bachtal wurde auch mal Bergbau für Eisenerze, Blei und Zink betrieben. Im Altlayer Bachtal sind heute noch Ruinen der Grube Barbarasegen vorhanden. Das 1409 erstmals erwähnte Bergwerk wurde in den 50er Jahren endgültig geschlossen.

Der Cache befindet sich ca. in Höhe der Oberkante der Höhle. Nutze links den Pfad.
