The round church „Zum Friedfürsten“ is a baroque lutheran church and its the most importent building in Klingenthal. It was build from the year 1736 to the 15th september 1737 and is 45 m high. The costs for the building of the church were 4713 Taler. The church has a octagonal floor plan and its the biggest in Saxony after the Frauenkirche Dresden. Inside the church are 3 galleries and the nave has room for 700 people. In 1760 the organmaker Trampeli from Adorf has build a 200 Taler organ inside the church. The nave is disposed around the altar and the entries are on both sides. Each of the wooden pillars in each corner are made out of one fir tree as a donation from the bohemian parish in Kraslice (Czech Republic). They show what tree-giants were growing in these times in the region. The inner has a width of 18 m and a height of 12 m.
You can park near the church at the coordinates. Whatch for muggles and the church supervisor. Its the best to come in the evening. If you want, you can also make a guide inside the church or you can search some other caches in Klingenthal.

Der Cache wurde zuletzt vor zwei Jahren gefunden und war in gutem Zustand. Neuere Hinweise auf Probleme mit dem Cache gibt es nicht.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die bei geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern.
Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt Jahre zurück und die Logs hier und auf geocaching.com lassen darauf schließen, dass der Cache in einem schlechten Zustand ist. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.

Hallo,
Dose heute gefunden.
Sie lag einfach auf dem Laub und war innen richtig nass. Wir wischten sie trocken und versteckten sie neu. Im Umkreis von 2m. In der Dose war kein Logbuch und kein Stift.

Recht schnell gefunden. Nach 22.00 Uhr waren ja auch kaum Muggels unterwegs. SiHoSi, mit dem ich heute unterwegs war. meinte sie aber an einer anderen Stelle gefunden zu haben.

Zusammen mit CGsylli konnten wir den Dingen heute Nachmittag schnell auf den Grund gehen. Die Muggel kamen erst, als wir die Büchse zurück gelegt haben. Puh!
Die Dose ist übrigens nicht mehr ganz dicht, weshalb wir das Bonbon entnommen haben, um kein Ungeziefer anzulocken.
