The bridge we are looking for has been built in the 17th century and was an important connection for the transport of goods back then. It used to be a private bridge, therefore toll was charged for crossing it. Later on it was used by local residents as connection to a nearby station of public transport.
Neither the bridge nor the station exist anymore. The bridge was torn away in the 20th century.
Find the approximate location of the bridge. Right next to the object the bridge was crossing, very close to the location of the bridge, you will find a somehow unusual metal staircase close to an older green handrail.
Note that there exist different descriptions of the bridge; the location differs by up to 500 meters. Even current maps give some hints about the bridge and its location.
Take a reading from your gps-receiver at the staircase. You should now have coordinates in the usual dd°mm.mmm format.
Count the number of steps (metal platforms) of the staircase. This number is A.
Count the number of horizontal bars of the green handrail; this is B.
Now replace the last three digits ("comma-minutes") by the results of the following calculations:
N: 18*B*A+11
E: 9*A+B+7
The container is a small square plastic box. Inside you will also find a sheet with more information about the bridge and its history.

Solche Mysties gefallen mir irrsinnig gut - historische Lost Places! :-)
Nach einiger Recherge konnte ich den Namen dieser Brücke herausfinden
und auch der ungefähre Standpunkt ließ sich anhand historischer Karten
herausfinden. Die genaue Position allerdings blieb noch ein Rätsel, aber
die heutige Suche vorort gemeinsame mit Pimi1 hat nach längerer Suche
die gewünschten Zielobjekte zum Vorschein gebracht.
Damit war die finale Position der Dose bekannt und konnte dort auch punktgenau gefunden werden.
Dieser Mysti verdient sich eindeutig einen FP meinerseits!

Nachdem wilma nach etwas ganz Anderem
gegooglet hatte, fand sie zufällig eine Webseite, die etwas über eine
Brücke berichtete, die das gesuchte Objekt sein könnte. Alles machte
Sinn und so begaben wir uns auf die Suche, nach der Stiege. Wir fanden
auch eine Stiege und ein grünes Geländer, bloss waren es nicht die
Gesuchten. Nach Abbruch und weiteren Überlegungen konnten wir ein neues
Ziel ausmachen. Diesmal klappte es. Als wir die Stiege sahen, waren wir
schon ein wenig stolz. Vielleicht werden aus uns ja doch einmal
richtige Grazer.
Das Final konnten wir dann auch bald finden.

Im ersten Anlauf habe ich noch versucht, die Brücke per Brute Force zu finden, und bin auch prompt auf einen False Positive reingefallen.
Heute, einige Monate, nach mehreren MB Downloads, einen glücklichen Zufall und nach der Bestätigung eines netten Marokkaners, hab ich mich mit Lalex auf die Suche gemacht.
Während unseres Spaziergangs sind wir sehenden Auges an dem Objekt vorbeimarschiert (man kann ja nicht alle Zeilen der Beschreibung immer im Kopf haben...), aber nach einiger Zeit konnten wir sowohl die Rechnung lösen als auch den Cache heben.

Mit dem geballten Wissen der versammelten Runde konnte heute auf einer Geburtstagsparty die gesuchte Brücke endlich identifiziert werden. Auf dem Heimweg mitten in der Nacht bin ich dann noch schnell dort vorbei, und obwohl alles reichlich vage war und ich nur wenig Hoffnung hatte, konnte ich den Cache erstaunlicherweise ganz problemlos finden.
