English Description
The Zoo Dresden was founded in the year 1861 and it is the 4th oldest zoo in germany. Today there are abaout 3000 animals living on an area of 13 hectare. A lot of animal-complexes were updated, enhanced and designed closer to nature. After the opening of the lions- and caracals-complex in 2007 and the giraffe-house in 2009 the Katta-Island was disclosed. In july 2010 the new tropical complex - the "Prof.-Brandes-House" - will open its gates. Beside saltwater crocodile Max also koalas will life there - for the first time in the history of Dresden.

The Zoo-staff is informed and helped us publishing the cache. We please you to act with caution while searching and lifting the cache. Especially the planting at the wayside should not take any damage.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die bei geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern.
Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und das Ownerlog auf geocaching.com offenbart, dass der Cache nicht mehr existiert. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben und der Cache wieder aktiviert werden, so kann dies durch den Owner selbstständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log erfolgen.
Bei Unklarheiten oder Fragen kannst du gerne mich oder das Team kontaktieren.

Mit den Kinder fleißig gerechnet und im richtigen, ungestörten Moment zugegriffen und geloggt.

Bei bestem Wetter war hier heute einiges auf den Beinen.
Die Lösung lag bereits seit dem letzten Besuch bereit. Daher war es heute ein leichtes ihn zu finden. Danke für die tolle Runde durch unseren Zoo.

Also wie man hier die Final-Koordinaten ermitteln soll, bleibt mir wohl dauerhaft schleierhaft.
Die
einzelnen Fakten ließen sich gut einsammeln, aber entweder ist das
Final ganz woanders hin gewandert oder ich verstehe die tricky Formel
des Owners nicht. Die Fakten habe ich jedesfalls mehrfach gewissenhaft
überprüft.
Nach ca. 8 erfolglosen Versuchen beim Checker wurde daher ein TJ bemüht und so die Dose gefunden.
Daheim
angekommen, habe ich am PC mit der Tabellenkalkulation versucht,
diverse Deutungen des Rechercheergebnisses in brauchbare Koordinaten
umzuwandeln, aber das ging alles deutlich in die Hose.
Die Dose
selbst zauberte mir ein Schmunzeln ins Gesicht, schließlich hatte ich
sowas vor gut 30 Jahren das letzte Mal in der Hand (und so toll sind die
Erinnerungen daran nicht 
).
Es war ein schöner Tag im Zoo, noch schöner wäre es gewesen, wenn der Cache sich ohne TJ gezeigt hätte.
