Churston Common

Churston Common is an area of grassland and woodland to the south-east of the "Windy Corner" junction of the A3022 and the A379. Superb views of the Broadsands Viaduct (Steam Railway) and of Torbay are available from the parking area.

The parking area provides a magnificent view of Torbay and of the Broadsands Viaduct, carrying the steam trains on their way to and from Kingswear. This parking area is available from May 1st to September 30th 8am until Sunset. Outside these dates and times, other less scenic arrangements for parking will need to be made.

The cache is an ammo box hidden about 1/4 mile away from the parking area. The walk to the cache location is more or less level over long grass.
