The so called "Residenz Grafenforst" was built in the 1970's from the american construction company Kaufman & Broad in Nauheim's local subdistrict "Nachtweide". It should obviously be a "light" copy of the closed communities in the US. However, it did never receive such a sublime image but was sometimes regarded as slightly crazy.
Nowadays, this district is called "Im Teich" (which means "At the pond", some would even say "In the pond") - maybe because of the high ground water level...
Nevertheless, the eastern part of Nauheim has a charm of its own: About 15% of the area has been planned as community lawn - aka the "Carrées"
Those are beautiful small green places where you can relax, take a deep breath and let your kids play...
The journey starts at the northwestern Carrée and takes you through all six of them until you get to the final location. You always find a number or must solve an easy math problem. All numbers will calculate into the final coordinates.
