English
This cache will lead you to Kårdal, the highest farm in
Flåmsdalen valley between Flåm and Myrdal. The narrow road through
the valley can be driven by car until 1,6 km before the Myrdal
station - the steep and narrow twisting road with countless
hair-pin bends is only accessible by foot. This road was used for
the transport of material to Myrdal for the construction of the
Bergensbana.
The Kårdal station (557 m above seal level) can not be used for
boarding or debording the Flåmsbana, it is only used for
maintenance of the Kårdal farm with its 250 goats.
Stamp and ink-pad must not be taken and shall stay in the box!
You can stamp your personal logbook with the sun-stamp and enter you personal stamp or sticker in the logbook of the cache.
