This cache invites you to a visit of the ancient abbey of Saint-Ferme, a classified historical monument. It was founded in the 12th century by a Benedictine order of monks on the pilgrims' road to Compostelle. In the abbey you can discover a fresco of the 18th century and and 1,300 roman coins dating from the 3rd century A.D.

Once a year in August a small Medieval Market takes place.

You can park at the parking close to the Infopoint near the abbey. [N44° 41.591 E0° 3.500]

1st June - 30th September: Tuesday - Saturday 2.30-6p.m.

1st October - 31st May: Tuesday - Saturday 2.30-5p.m.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die bei geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern.
Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com (GC2FKM6) archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Er wurde hier noch nie gefunden und die Logs bei geocaching.com lassen darauf schließen, dass der Cache nicht mehr existiert. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben und der Cache wieder aktiviert werden, so kann dies durch den Owner selbstständig über die Funktion "Cache bearbeiten" erfolgen.
