Am 15 August 1976 gründeten 20 Camper am so genannten Futterplatz den Verein der Camingfreunde.Am 5 Sept. 1976 fand die erste Mitgliederversammlung statt.Heute hat der Verein über 400 Mitglieder diese beteitigen sich gerne an verschiedenen Ortsmeisterschaften und sind hier oft ein starker Gegner. Kein Wunder der Verein verfügt über eine sehr aktive Sportabteilung. (Quelle Heimatbuch St.Leon)
