There are two different routes to the cache: Route 1 is idyllic and not suitable for baby buggies. Route 2 leads along wide, paved trails (suitable for baby buggies). Both routes are approximately 2.5 km long.
Route 1: Starting point is the bus stop with parking place "Unterer Backertsweg" [Lütticherstr. (B264), bus lines 2 and 24, coordinates: N50°44.415 ', E006°0.109']. If you prefer, you can layaway from tree to tree on the nearby ropes course before you start hiking.
You walk on the B264 towards Kelmis and then turn left into the bitumized "Entenpfuhlerweg", which crosses the railway line Aachen - Belgium by a bridge. On the bridge you can see on the left hand two railway tunnels, of which the left tunnel was recently completed, so that the Thalys can pass here without slowing down. After the bridge, the route continues to follow on your right hand parallel to the railroad tracks.
Route 2: Starting point is the parking lot at the Forest Restaurant "Gut Entenpfuhl" (coordinates: N50°,44.152', E006°,03.504'). You drive on the B264 from Aachen towards Belgium on the "Lütticherstr." Behind the restaurant "Waldschenke" (right) is a small road on your left with signs "Gut Entenpfuhl". Gut Entenpfuhl" is a popular tourist destination. There are miniature golf, a duck pond with ducks, donkeys, a miniature carousel and sometimes hot-air balloons, which start here
Combined route: You can also combine the two routes in a circular path. (approximately 3.1 km). This works best this way: You hike Route 1 to the cache. From the cache you hike to the waypoint "Entenpfuhlerweg / Klausbergweg (coordinates: N50°,44.150',E006° 03.367'). Restaurant "Gut Entenpfuhl " is on your right, which is visible through the trees. The railway bridge, which takes you back, is on your left.
Note: The cache is located approximately 2 m from the pond edge. In the box there are small gifts for father, mother and child. Please take exchange gifts with you.

Dieser Cache ist seit mehr als einem Jahr „momentan nicht verfügbar“; daher wird er automatisch archiviert. Er kann vom Besitzer jederzeit instand gesetzt und reaktiviert werden.

Schöner idylischer Weiher.

Leider war der Cache direkt sichtbar, aber i.O.

Wieder an seinen Platz gelegt.
