Parking:

There are sufficient (free) parking facilities available right at the allotment garden area, just a couple hundred feet away  from the first hint.

Note:

You can easily reach all hints from pathways. So it is not necessary to use your machete & chainsaw to make your way straight through the woods. 

Onyour way to the Cache you will find some hints (Numbers) which will give you parts of the "Final coordinate". This is the last Hint, situated just a couple Feet from the "Hidden Treasure". It will give you the crutial advice where to find the Cache. 

The Final coordinate is: N50° 36.0XX`   E012° 4X.XXX`

 Let`s go:

Starting Point is the Parking Lot: N 50° 36.438` E012° 47.611`

Proceed from the parking area along the path in south easterly direction for about 600ft. You will see then a signpost.

Count all characters (Letters and numbers) which are written on both arcs and add +6.

The result will give you: N50° 36.0XX`

Now proceed to the observation tower. It is located at:

N 50° 36.337` E012° 47.294`

You`ll have a great view of the town of Zwonitz. The tower also offers you a place to have a short snack before you enter the merciless  wilderness of Zwonitz...

But even more important : Here you can find another Hint. Just count the steps of the tower (including the platform). Devide the number by 2 and afterwards subtract 9.

It will give you:  E012° 4X.XXX`

Found it ? Let keep going! 

Follow the path and walk to 50° 36.150`  E012° 47.150` . Look for another hint for the final coordinate. This time you are looking for an even number.

Insert the number you`ve found into:  E012° 4X.XXX`

Wasn`t that hard, right?..

Follow the path for about  150ft in south easterly direction You will see an intersection. Turn right (West). About 300ft later the path will  end at another intersection. Here you will find a second signpost.  

How often can you find the letter "n" on that signpost?

Multiply this number by 10 and add 1. You will get the last part of the final coordinate: E012° 4X.XXX`

Follow the directions on the signpost to the  "Fuchsbrunnenbrücke".

If you go on for another 450ft, you will stand right in front of an old train bridge. It was part of a railroad track which connected Zwonitz with the nearby town Scheibenberg. The Track was opened in 1900. From that day on, there were up to 8 trains per day. At the same moment it was the end of the age of the stagecoachs in this reagion.  1947 following the II WW, the Route was closed, sending the traintracks to Sowjet Union as part of the war reparations.

The almost 200ft long brdge was itself built in 1898. 1989 the plan of the GDR Government planned to tear down this structure. But due to the collapse of the GDR in that time the plan failed.

Due to the age of that bridge, I just wanna use a second to remind you that it is very dangerous to step onto the structure.

Now after this historical excoursion lets keep going:  The final coordinate is not far from here. (please be careful the terrain is pretty steep around here).And just another tip: Don`t get wet.
