DEUTSCH: Es scheint so, als wäre die Brücke zur Insel zur Zeit wieder offen, daher würde ich euch bitten, die Tour bis zur dort gelegenen Dose zu machen. Die Wanderung dort hin ist wirklich schön! Aber: Da ich zur Zeit nicht in der Gegend bin, kann ich persönlich den Zustand zur Zeit nicht überprüfen. Wenn ihr euch nicht sicher seid oder wenn die Dose auf der Insel in den letzten Monaten verschwunden sein sollte, loggt bitte weiterhin den Ersatz in der Nähe des Parkplatzes.

DEUTSCH: Dieser Cache is ein Dankeschön für all die tollen Caches, die wir während unserer diversen Urlaube an Dänemarks Westküste gefunden haben. Er liegt an einer einsamen Stelle auf einer kleinen Insel mitten im Stadil Fjord. Man kann ihn nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erreichen. Bitte beachten: NICHT Privatgelände betreten, NICHT die Tiere erschrecken - weder wilde noch domestizierte -, NICHT den markierten Weg verlassen und den Cache bitte wieder genau so zurück legen, wie ihr ihn vorgefunden habt. Die Terrain-Wertung von 2.0 liegt an dem ca. 3km langem Wanderweg, der zum Cache führt. Die Dose ist entweder ein großer "Micro" oder ein kleiner "Small", nur Kleinteile können getauscht werden, einige TBs oder Coins könnten aber hineinpassen.

Mit dem Auto bis zum Parkplatz, weiter mit dem Fahrrad und dann den letzten Kilometer zu Fuß. So kommt man sehr gut zur Dose. Und der Fußweg gehört zu den schönsten Erlebnissen. Vielen Dank.

Die Brücke ist offen und renoviert (jetzt eine Holzplankenbrücke. Schöner 6 km Rundweg um die Insel mit herrlichen Blicken, und unterwegs der Cache, nicht allzuschwer. Laut hinterlassenen Notizen dieses Jahr schon mehrfach gefunden. Eine absolute Empfehlung! DfdC

The bridge is open and renovated (now a wooden plank bridge). Beautiful 6 km circuit around the island with wonderful views, and on the way the cache, not too difficult. According to notes left, this year already found several times . An absolute recommendation! TftC

I really hope the bridge will be repaired some day, but until then you can find an ersatz box at the coordinates N56°09.044 E008°14.400.
This is not the cache I originally created, but still better than nothing. The area is still worth a visit if you like watching birds on the fjord but sadly the hike across the island is not possible at the moment.
Please do not try to cross the bridge until it has been repaired and the gate has been removed, it seems to be dangerous in the present condition!

Well, that's a pickle...
Today I went to see what this is all about and the bridge is definitely closed. It wasn't in a good state last year and it looks like it is just plain hazardous to try to cross it now. Also, it looks like there won't be a new bridge any time soon. (See attached images.)
That leaves me with a cache that cannot be reached by "normal" means. I can't even get there to have a look at the logbook.
On the other hand it is probably still there and can be logged, if you can figure out a way to get to the island. (I'd suggest a boat. I wouldn't recommend swimming all the way, it's probably not such a good idea - Stadil Fjord is not that deep, but probably deep enough to drown in...)
So, I will keep this cache in a "disabled" state for now. I guess as no one can get to the island at the moment, it doesn't block any new caches. Additionally I can't collect the cache box at the moment, so it technically remains logable. Maybe I'll turn it into a T5 or something... ;-)

Hier kamen einige meiner Muggelfreunde etwas an ihre Schmerzgrenze.
Erst wurde mein Vorschlag zum Inselbesuch gerne aufgenommen.
Als ich dann nach Überqueren des Inselsteges verkündete : nur noch etwas mehr als 2 Km, kam erstes Murren auf.
Aber bis auf einen Umkehrer und einen Humpelnden waren die drei Übrigen glückliche Finder.
Und auf dem Rückweg war heftiger Rückenwind.
