mit Tochter Helena gefunden ;-) war ganz lustig, bei Stage2 war der Hinweis eher verwirrend, denn dort wo der Hinweis hinführte, gab's wahrscheinlich mal eine Tafel, aber die ist anscheinend abmontiert worden.

At stage 2 I had to go back to G because I noticed that I had read the wrong sign - turns out that the result was the same anyway..
Found all stages rather quickly and even the micro couldn't hide for long - thanks.

Endlich gefunden!

Durch eine falsche Zahl die ich verwendet hatte, war Stage 4 z.T. sehr verwirrend... bin aber nun doch erfolgreich gewesen!

Ms. Ravenwood

Gemeinsam mit Ms. Ravenwood am Samstag mit der Suche begonnen, wir mussten jedoch aus Zeitmangel abbrechen. Den zweiten Anlauf dann am Sonntag begonnen, jedoch kläglich gescheitert. Nach einigen Nachrechnereien dann doch die richtigen Koordinaten gefunden, und in der Abenddämmerung den Cache gehoben!

Damit den "jedentageinencachegefundenschnitt" beibehalten können!

Möge Ms. Ravenwood in den nächsten Tagen auch zuschlagen!

Danke für den schönen Weg um den Weizberg, es war nicht ganz so leicht wie vermutet, hat aber Spass gemacht!

Den Weizberg hatte ich bereits bei meiner letzten Weiztour begonnen. Damals war allerdings die Konzentration nicht mehr da und ich bin auf eine leichte Mehrdeutigkeit bei S4 hereingefallen. Als es mich dann auf den Friedhof geführt hat, hab ich die Aktion abgebrochen. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Owner am nächsten Tag war mir aber sofort alles klar und ich brauchte den Cache heute praktisch nur mehr abzuholen.

Schöner Spaziergang in Weiz. Dort Oben war ich noch nie.
Bei einem Punkt waren wir uns nicht ganz sicher, da hier die Lösung Interpretationssache ist. Den Cache haben wir trotzdem gefunden. Danke fürs Verstecken.

Gut gemachter Cache

... und wenn man die Hints vorher richtig lesen würde, dann würde man auch bei Stage 2 nicht den verkehrten Spruch wählen . Lustigerweise kommt man aber auch mit falschem Spruch zum richtigen Ergebnis, nur steht man dann beim zweiten Spruch erst einmal ziemlich dumm herum .

Hat ja trotzdem recht gut geklappt und irgendwie muss man sich ja Abends mal die Füße vertreten .

Ich hatte die einzelnen Stages schon vor fast zwei Monaten erledigt und bin dann am Final an Horden von Muggles gescheitert. Ehrlich gesagt konnte ich auch das Versteck nicht ausmachen. Nun las ich voller Schrecken von einem neuen Versteck und geänderten Formeln. Zum Glück hatte ich meine Notizen noch und konnte somit die neuen Koordinaten leicht berechen. Hin und geloggt!

Nach Spoilern der Styrian Bastards doch noch gefunden ...
Echt fieses Versteck.
Das Logbuch ist leider nass geworden und beginnt bereits zu schimmeln.

Alle Aufgaben überraschend rasch gelöst, trotz der teilweise irreführenden Angaben. Der Final war da schon kniffliger. Obwohl tatsächlich schon "gesehen", erst mit Hilfe von Dr.Torque im dunkeln um ca. 20:40 gefunden.

As the weather was bad today, I refrained from selecting a cache where having a nice view is the main goal. As I do not like driving when it is raining, I chose this cache as it belongs to the nearest unfound caches on my list and does not have a high terrain rating.

I left my car somewhere in Weiz (about 300 meters from Stage 1) and visited all the stages of the cache on foot. I prefer walking in the rain to driving in the rain .... (apparently I am quite alone with this preference). Stage 1 was easily found, but already at that stage I managed to make my first mistake: a silly calculation mistake resulted into a wrong value of B. I did not realize the mistake before I arrived at a place which should have been Stage 2. There was a text there, but the place did not fit at all the criteria for a stage of a cache. Moreover, counting the number of words, led to a very large value for G and so I was sure that I must have made a mistake. I found the mistake quickly. The "new" candidate for Stage 2 then looked much more promising.
At the second part of Stage 2 I made another mistake which made me wonder for a moment, but then I read the text again and obtained reasonable values for the coordinates of Stage 3. The tasks at Stage 3 were easy to solve. It was the first time that I took the time to visit the building at Stage 3. It is not my favourite one among the class of building to which it belongs to, but still it is worth to be visited - I prefer the outside of the building to the interior. Stage 4 offered a partial surprise for me - I had expected a different type of numbered object. The coordinates for the cache led me to an area which I had suspected in advance, but I had expected a different type of hideout.

It took me quite a while to find the cache - there were quite some people around today and I had to stop to search several times. After a while I had a look at the hint, but it did not help me as I had concentrated my main efforts on this type of area anyway. After looking at some places that are more crazy than the hideout of the cache, I finally found the cache. I did not have looked closely enough at my first attempt. If this cache were located in Vienna, it would cause quite a lot of work for the hiders.

I liked the cache except the final stage: the objects of the intermediary stages are well chosen and it was a nice urban walk well suited for the bad weather. Thanks for motivating me to visit some objects in Weiz I have never visited before. So far I have mainly driven through Weiz on my way to other caches, but never have taken the time to make a stop in the city.
