Die Dose gibt es nicht mehr. Ich hoffe, sie hat den Findern Spaß gemacht.

Diese Viecher sind uns noch aus dem Informatikunterricht bekannt (Turbo Pascal hatte auch Turtle Grafik).
Gemeinsam mit ptom haben wir uns dann auf die Spur der Liebenden gemacht und fanden schlussendlich ihren geheimen Treffpunkt (zumindest einmal auf Papier).
Heute habe ich (fred) die Dose bei Dunkelheit abgeholt. Davon ist momentan eher abzuraten, denn als ich in der Nähe der Finalkoordinaten war, hörte ich schüsse aus allen Richtungen, auffliegende Vögel und Wild. Also: Stirnlampe eingeschaltet lassen, schnell suchen, schnell loggen, schnell zurück.

Hallo miteinander

Unser erster Cache Heute. Im Ziel Gebiet angekommen und irgendwie vor Lauter Cache verstecke kein Cache gefunden. Wir wollten schon bei WW um die richtigkei unserer Koordinaten nachfragen. Katharina hat uns dann doch zum Cache gelotst.

When this cache showed up, I was happy that after quite some time again a new cache outside of Graz showed up that I could do by bicycle and with no need to bring along hiking boots.

The first part of the name of the cache made me realize once again how many different meanings certains words or acronyms may have. Although I am familiar with the programming language LOGO (but never have used it myself), my first association was a different one.

Due to my background I knew immediately how to compute the meeting points of the two turtles, but still the somewhat boring work (just from my personal point of view) had to be done. First I made a small mistake as I once again mixed up left and right at some point and then another mistake when transforming the coordinates sloppily (a silly typing mistake).

Despite the fact that the weather did not look very stable, I dared to start off today for the cache. Due to the very heavy rain falls which took place this week, I had to take the "emergency routing" of the R2 close to the former location of Gert's Graz south cache as the main route under the brige was flooded. At the moment the river Mur carries really a lot of water (and also a lot of pieces of wood).

After leaving the R2 bicycle path I had a minor problem to find the right approach to the cache area. At first I took a wrong turn, but realized my mistake soon. After a small detour I finally arrived in the target area and left my bike at a convenient place. I then walked the last meters to the cache area. The reception was bad and jumpy. At first I was quite unhappy that the description does not offer a hint as I do not like searching for caches in an area with no special outstanding locations. After 5 minutes of rather unsystematic search, I decided to try to get a better bearing by visiting a place with better reception. This approach worked out fine and I found the cache after about 5 additional minutes. I was glad that I visited the place during daylight and that no stealth was necessary when searching the cache. When it is dark, the cache will certainly be more difficult to find (except one brings along very good lamps).

Thank you for hiding this cache and for keeping the terrain rating low which allowed me to visit the cache by bicycle. I would not have liked to approach the cache by car as the cache does not offer the chance for a longer walk.
The puzzle part of the cache is nice and should be easy enough to attract a larger number of cachers as no special knowledge is required. The cache location is not very special, but is well suited to be visited on the occasion of a bicycle tour.

No trade

Schon vor einigen Tagen hab mich hingesetzt und das Rätsel gelöst. Die Koordinaten berechnet und im lauf der letztn Tage die Ergebnisse irgendwo verschlampt. Heute wollte ich diesen Cache dann suchen und suchte erst mal lange nach den Notizen...nix. Also nochmal das ganze. Rätsel gelöst und ab gings zum Cache. Cachebehälter aus Glas find ich allerdings nicht so gut. Sonst hat mir dieser Cache aber super gefallen.
