Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und die Logs bei geocaching.com lassen darauf schließen, das das Logbuch fehlt und der Owner keine Wartung mehr vornimmt. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben und der Cache wieder aktiviert werden, so kann dies durch den Owner selbstständig über die Funktion "Cache bearbeiten" erfolgen.

Extra weiter weg geparkt und einen schönen Herbstspaziergang zum cache gemacht, bei der Wegfindung mal wieder mal falsch gelegen und verwundert einer schwarzen (sehr lieben) Sau die in einem gepfelgten Garten wohl den Ersatz für einen Hund mimte gegenübergestanden (na ja ein Zaun war schon inzwischen). Nachdem wir uns Gegenseitig verwundert gemustert hatten zog ich weiter. Der cache war schnell gefunden (Huhuuu *winke winke* Lord Harry ), gefällt mir sehr gut, schöne Idee. Das loggen dauerte etwas länger aus mehreren Gründen :-)

An der Machart des Caches merkt man: da hat jemand Spass am Geocachen. Schöne Idee, schöner Spazierweg zum Cache, danke fürs Verstecken.

Schnell gefunden (ohne Hints natürlich). Echt nettes Versteck, das man eigentlich nicht übersehen kann. MEhr sag ich dazu gar nicht, weil sonst verrate ich vielleicht noch zu viel.

Beim Durchlesen stellte ich mir die Location (inkl. Cache) schon mal vor und vor Ort hatte ich dann fast ein Déjà-vu.

Left my bike on a nearby street close to the cache location. The cache box was quickly found as I've already found such a cache box before .
Nevertheless it took me some minutes before I could sign the log. After re-hiding the cache I decrypted the hints and noticed that one of the previous finders must have made it easier than it was supposed to be.. so I corrected that minor issue (but I think I should have changed something else too, but forgot about it)

Mal faul gewesen und mit dem Auto cachen gefahren [:I]
Das Versteck war schnell gefunden, vom Parkplatz bis auf die letzen 20m entlang netter Waldwege zu erreichen.
Kurz hatte ich dann doch mit dem Gedanken gespielt den Hint zu entschlüsseln, aber da die Cachebeschreibung noch im Drucker steckte erübrigte sich diese Option.
Aber es ging auch so, und war recht spassig!
Zurück gings dann direkt dem GPS-Pfeil entlang zum Auto, wo ein verdächtiges Auto stand: 2 GPS-Halterungen ohne GPS ;-)
Also noch gemütlich ein Pfeiferl geraucht, als dann die vermeintlichen Cacher zurückkamen meldete sich gerade mein Handy - und schwupps waren sie weg ;-)
Sehr netter Cache in einem recht abenteuerlichen Waldstück danke fürs Verstecken.

Sehr nette Umgebung obwohl heute etwas matschig :)
Mit n.wiesenhofer nach Brettljause in Stainz, doch noch dazu durchgerungen den Cache anzugehen.
Ich kann nur eins sagen tolle Fingerübung für zwischendurch

hab mir den "umweg" über den parkplatz erspart und parkte ca. 150m vom cache weg. auch ein weg führte fast direkt zum cache. das fast-rudel hab ich um ca 35 min verpasst. gehoben um 18.50h.

nette verpackung, für den grazer raum was ganz neues (in wien gibt's sowas schon)

When I detected this cache shortly after it has been published, I was not sure whether this is a cache in Styria or in Burgenland as the other caches of the same hiders are hidden quite far from Graz and since the parking coordinates pointed to a location in Burgenland.

As I was not in the mood to once again start off for a longer drive by car to reach some unfound caches, I decided to stay in Graz and visit this cache, my only unfound cache which is within my reach and is not too far away from my home.

I approached the cache by bicycle, but I came from another direction and thus did not leave my bike at the suggested parking coordinates, but closer to the location of the cache. In retrospect I have to admit that my approach to the cache was far from ideal. There was no path to follow and the ground was covered with lots of branches, tree trunks etc. - not the ideal terrain for me as I was not wearing my hiking boots which I would have preferred in this terrain to be on the safe side.

The reception was quite jumpy. In approaching the cache I had to pass two boys who were training certain moves with their MTBs. Fortunately, the cache is hidden in an area which was not visible to them.

Due to the bad reception, I took out my compass and followed just the rough the bearing indicated by my GPS-r. This approach worked out well once again. I soon arrived in an area where a certain location attracted my attention. The coordinates seem to be of a very good quality. If you come from the wrong direction and own an old GPS-r, it might, however take you some time to profit from the quality of the coordinates ........

For a certain reason, I decided to have a look at the hint and after having confirmed my suspicion, I proceeded. I have to admit that I did not enjoy that much retrieving and rehiding the cache, but that's definitely not due to a deficiency of the cache, but due to deficiency of the cacher cezanne. (Those who know me reasonably well, will immediately know why I did not appreciate this job once they arrive at the cache.) I was relieved after having finished the job without having been seen by someone. I then returned to my bike and this time I somehow managed to choose an even worse route than the one I had taken to the cache as shortly before arriving at my bike I ended up in a small area covered with lots of stinging nettles.

Thank you very much for hiding this cache which definitely is not one of the "throw a film canister out of the window of your car" type. The cache is well suited for cachers who like caches which require only a short amount of time at the side of the searcher, but into which much more time has been invested on the side of the hider(s).

To those who like myself appreciate caching as a sort of physical exercise, I recommend to come by bicycle. Despite the fact that I once again became aware how bad my level of fitness is at the moment, I enjoyed the short bicycle tour very much.
