Finding the cache location was very easy because I immediately saw what had changed.
Getting the box out of its hiding place was not that easy because of hundreds of muggles passing by on this sunny Sunday afternoon.

I managed to get the box in a quite moment and signed the log.

Thanks for the nice tour :)

When I saw the cache description yesterday evening, I was scared off by the 3.5* terrain rating. Nevertheless I had a quick look at the description of the stages and some of them were clear to me without having to visit them.

Today in the late afternoon I decided to visit Stage 2 by bicycle to get a short break. On my way I passed by Stage 1, but did not stop there as this stage is very well known to me as I lived close-by for about a decade. Later on I met j_blue and Deejay58. I had a nice chat with them and was told by them that my conjecture that the terrain rating applies to the hideout of the cache was wrong. I then continued to Stage 2. It took me some time to collect all informations, but I managed this task without any help despite the fact that I am small, clumsy and cannot cope with 2+* terrain at the moment.

When I wanted to continue to Stage 3, I had bad luck because the plastic part of the key for the lock of my bicycle break off and I was not able any more to open the lock. After a while of fumbling around in vain I realized that I will not be able to open the lock without the help of a tool like a pincer. At first I hoped that I would be able to get such a tool at the closest police office. It was quite exhausting to get the bicycle there as I had to carry the back part. Unfortunately, none of the police officers could help me. So I decided to do what would have been the best solution right from the beginning. Leave the bike where it was, go home and get a pincer. After having returned with an appropriate tool to my bike, it had already got dark. Nevertheless I decided to continue with the cache search.

At Stage 3 my coordinates were a bit off, but as the stage was known to me anyway it did not matter. I do not know whether I made a mistake with F or G or whether my GPS fooled me once again. In any case the coordinates for Stage 4 were reasonable again, but I would not have needed coordinates for this stage as it was obvious to me anyway.

As Stage 5 was clear to me already yesterday when I read the description, I could use the coordinates as a checking mechanism for the correctness of the values I had obtained until then. Obtaining the values at this stage was a bit tricky as it was dark, but finally I succeeded. Stage 6 was a surprise to me, but not that impressive.

As Stage 7 is regarded, I had obtained the required values already in advance. In any case I was glad that I already knew the location of this stage as my GPS-r likes to fool me around in this part of Graz.

Stage 8 was no surprise either, but like aj-gps I was not sure about the values of V and W. Like him the values that I considered to be more likely turned out to be the correct ones. Unlike aj-gps I decided to leave my bicycle at Stage 8 and to continue on foot to the cache. Since I did not have a map with me I took a more complicated approach to the target location than necessary. Just following the pointer led me to some detours. Due to the log of aj-gps I was already thinking that I must have made a mistake, but then I arrived in an area that somehow looked promising.

Fortunately I had brought a torch with me and so I was able to find the cache container after a short search. I would not have liked to retrieve and rehide the cache during daylight as I hate being forced to act in a stealthy mode.
Fortunately, at the time of my visit the cache location was however deserted. Once again I thought how nice it would be to have cache containers without trading items .......

Thank you for hiding this cache and for motivating me to have a break which finally ended up to last longer than intended. The cache search did not take that long, but the episode with the key reported above costed me quite some time as I had to walk and could not use my bike.

When comparing City Walk I to City Walk II, the situation is somehow diametrically opposed: I prefer the hideout of this cache to the hideout of CW I, but the stages of CW I were more attractive for me than the stages of this cache which offered almost no surprise for me. Nevertheless I enjoyed the combined bike ride and walk after quite some time of forced physical inactivity.

I did not have any problems at all with the calculations to be performed - no complicated arithmetics was involved. I neither used an electronic tool nor did I commit any mistakes.

The terrain rating 3.5* is definitely too high and misleading.

No trade (the TB is still there)

Nice walk - or better: bike drivein
Quickly visited all stages. Only stage 2 took a bit longer and at stage 8 I wasn't sure about the arrows. Of two possible solutions the first one I tried was the right one - found the box within seconds.
Just when I was about to retrieve the box Wild-Wuggis called and asked me if I was already searching for this cache..
Thanks!
