Found The geocache is in good or acceptable condition. 08 June 2023 Zoidberg73 found the geocache

No trade.

Ich hab fast den Einstieg nicht gefunden. [:I] Danach gings aber zügig voran.

Found 25 December 2008 cezanne found the geocache

When I started at home, I expected to walk accompanied by a grey sky and a cold wind. To my surprise, the sky became blue when I arrived at the starting point and also the wind almost stopped. In this manner I was able to enjoy nice views on my way from St Ruprecht up Breitegg.

Although I had taken a map with me, I had some troubles to find the beginning of the route. I ended up in taking the wrong road (one too early) at the cross at the start. I then managed to reach the right road (Breitegger Strasse) by crossing through the graveyard (which was worth a visit anyway).

Despite the fact that the road is paved, I enjoyed the walk along the way of the cross. Quite often it is possible to walk to the left of the road and thus to avoid walking on tarmac.

After I while some I started to have some doubts whether my printout of the cache description (in black and white only and in bad quality) would suffice for recognizing the four stations to be found. It turned out, however, that whenever I arrived at one of the four locations, I knew immediately that I have reached yet another of the required stations. Except the question which leads to I, I encountered no ambiguities. (In case of I, I think that what is asked for refers only to the visible total score of the cards.)

After the last stage I determined the coordinates of the cache and then first walked to the pilgrimage church to see whether it is open. To my surprise it was open and so I could have a look at it and also read more about the history of the church. After a prayer in the church I left and went for the cache. The reception was a bity jumpy, but I found the cache very quickly by intuition. The cache container was larger than expected (some cachers already use regular for this size). The container and its contents are in good condition.

Thank you for this nice cache and for showing me an interesting way of the cross I have not been aware before. I also enjoyed the relaxing walk. It was not windy any more and so I felt much more very comfortable than I had expected after my experience at the MS V cache. The way in which the questions are posed did not appeal to me, but that's certainly a matter of taste. Personally, I would have preferred more serious questions.

Though I am not a fan of modern art, the stations along the way of the cross had some appeal also for me. I liked the colours and also the used enamel-technique. I need to admit however that I was not able to understand all symbols - maybe it would have been easier with the brochure which is available about the way of the cross.

I feel that 3* overrates the terrain difficulty significantly (on one hand because only the length to the cache counts and on the other hand because the cache can be visited by car except the very last meters to the cache).

Hallo miteinander
