This cache has been on my wish list since it showed up. Somehow the Summer 2009 went away too early and I suffered my troubles with my spine back then. In early 2010 I injured my knee which causes more or less troubles since then and keeps me from going for extended bike trips. Nevertheless I visited all first four stages - withe the exception of Stage 4 even several times. In July 2010 I not only visited Stage 4, but went along the whole R2 route from Graz down to Spielfeld. Recently I had a hard time to refind my notes and to decipher them. To be on the safe side I asked aj-gps whether my values were correct as due to my knee troubles I decided to go by train to Spielfeld and to continue on bicycle from there. I could also have went to Mureck, but I wanted to master the full route without any holes in between.

As I made many stops it took me quite a while until I reached Stage 5 where I found I expected to find there. Finding the cache was then a piece of cake. The cache is in perfect condition after almost a year without any finds. It is such a shame that this nice cache does not get more visitors. It really seems that only few cachers like to ride a bicycle.

All in all both trips Graz-Spielfeld in July 2010 and Spielfeld-Radkersburg today were very nice. I liked the second part more, but also because the part from Graz to Lebring is quite boring for me as I ride along this route very often. Moreover, some parts of the route from Mureck to Radkersburg are close to the Mur and attractive also from the landscape point of view.

Thank you very much for taking to effort to hide a multi cache along the Graz-Radkersburg part of the R2. With all detours and my way to the train station and back home from the train station I covered more than 65km which is a lot for me at the moment, but fortunately almost no height meters were involved.
While the train carriages with a large area dedicated for bicycles are a good choice from the point of view of the number of bicycles that fit into them, they are quite inconvenient for getting the bicycle in the train and even more for getting it out. Fortunately someone helped me.

It is a pity that no aj-gps is waiting for me that fits my preferences. This cache - hidden in 2009 - was the last one among the many aj-gps caches I liked. The newer ones appeal to a totally different audience.

I really wished that there existed more caches like this one. It is so much more relaxing for me to visit one long multi cache than those annoying series of so many single caches that in the end I cannot even recall at the same day what happened where.
