English description:
This cache leads you to the "Schimmelkapelle" (Greyhorse Chapel) near Ascholding. A nice walk of about 1,5 Km (oneway) on paved or gravel roads. Suitable for strollers and bicycles. A parking site as well as an inn with a beer garden you'll find at the town center. Coordinates N 47° 53.276 / E 011° 30.235
At the starting point you'll have to leave the town heading south on a small paved road. Just outside the town you'll notice the steeple of the chapel on the left side of the road on a wooded hill. Go to the chapel and find out the following:
Look at the steeple of the chapel
A = How many corners has the steeple in its upper part? ____ Corners.
Now watch the window covers aloft the steeple. They are
showing different types of symbols. Please count...
B = Stars _____, C = Crosses _____, D = Goblets _____.
Examine the nave of the Chapel now.
E = How many outward corners shows the ground plot of the whole chapel? _____
outward corners.
F = Count the windows in the nave. _____ windows.

Heute war wieder mal GeoCaching mit Yakii angesagt. Wir fuhren mit der S-Bahn bis Wolfratshausen und drehten dann eine 46,3km messende Runde mit den Fahrrädern.

6. Clerus et Equus: Nach einer Stärkung im Biergarten in Ascholding machten wir uns wieder Richtung Süden auf - bei sorgfältiger Planung hätten wir ein paar hundert Meter Weg einsparen können. Um 19:40 Uhr hoben wir unseren letzten Cache für heute.

Das perfekte Wetter ließ heute keine Ausreden zu und so machten sich rkschlotte und ich auf in den Süden zu einer schönen Radeltour ab Wolfratshausen. Zur Motivationssteigerung trugen natürlich ein paar Caches am Wegesrand bei [:)].

Die Verschnaufpause im Biergarten hatten wir uns redlich verdient. So mussten wir uns auf dem Weg durch Steinsberg ein paar aufgeregten Kläffern stellen. Die Besitzerin meinte, die wären so aufgedreht, weil die Fahrradfahrer immer nach ihnen treten würden. Ob sie hier nicht Ursache und Wirkung verwechselt [?][?][?] Der Abstieg auf dem Waldweg Richtung Ascholding bescherte uns dann noch eine Baumüber- und Baumunterquerung.
Endlich in Cache-Nähe bereiteten uns die Aufgaben aber keine Schwierigkeiten und der Cache war fix gefunden.

Bei drohendem Regen die Sache etwas abgekürzt und einen näheren Parkplatz gewählt ( 47 52,898/11 30,465 für Faule wie ich ).
Leider war die Aussicht auch nicht so toll.

Ja natürlich kannten wir die Tragödie dieses bedauernswerten Schimmels, denn schließlich hatten wir bereits seit Ewigkeiten vor, an eben genau dieser ungewöhnlichen Stelle selbst einen Cache zu verstecken. Aber wenn man nur lange genug wartet, kann man stattdessen da genialerweise auch einfach einen Cache loggen, wie praktisch ! Vielen Dank für den FF und die echt oberlässige Erstfinder-Medaille ! Die kriegt definitiv einen Ehrenplatz! Cache problemlos gehoben, den Spoiler braucht man definitiv nicht ! Das hat Spaß gemacht – vielen Dank, Grüße und allseits happy hunting SaRa – Sabine + Rainer
