harter Cache

Dieser Cache ist seit mehr als einem Jahr „momentan nicht verfügbar“; daher wird er automatisch archiviert. Er kann vom Besitzer jederzeit instand gesetzt und reaktiviert werden.

Endlich beim dritten Anlauf gefunden, beim ersten Mal fast Finger abgefroren, beim zweiten Mal trotz richtiger coords nicht entdeckt (wie wir heute feststellen mussten), aber heute bei absoluter Dunkelheit gings. Trotzdem war 1 Muggel anwesend, den trieb wahrscheinlich die Neugierde zu uns.
Die Enten haben sich über den nächtlichen Snack gefreut, Bastard K auch, dass sie endlich wieder ins Auto durfte, und ich weil endlich gefunden, und dann noch eine schöne coin drin... somit waren alle glücklich.

Wie erwartet fanden wir ganz interessante Aufgaben bei den Stationen. Besonders gefallen hat uns Stage 0. War nicht ganz so einfach, da uns bei der Kälte die Teile schon langsam an den Fingern anfroren. Dann aber doch recht rasch eine Lösung gefunden. Vielen Dank für die Mühe Dan, wie deine anderen Caches ist auch dieser sehr empfehlenswert.

Trotz Eiseskälte konnten wir den Cache relativ schnell heben. Stage 0 bereitete doch einige Mühe, Stage 1 und 2 waren dann rasch gelöst. Wieder ein super Cache von Dan Track!

Originally I wanted to start with this cache and visit the final of the Blumau cache thereafter, but as I took the wrong turn at some point, it was a better idea to first drive to Bierbaum and then to continue to this cache. I had some troubles to find the right streets to the pond, but finally I managed to arrive at the target area.

I left my car at the parking lot of a nearby restaurant and walked to Stage 0. There I found the box rather fast. It took me longer to solve the puzzle. Fortunately, it was quite warm and sunny today for a day in February. The idea underlying the puzzle is nice and creative. It must have been quite some work to set up the ingredients. Personally, I am not that fanatic about this sort of puzzles and even less in the forest, but that's certainly a matter of taste and can already be seen from the enthusiastic comments of some previous finders that had to solve the puzzle under much harder conditions that I had because it was warm today.

The coordinates of Stage 1 were somewhat off and I used the hint as I did not want to enter the area more than necessary (from my point of view, it is a sensitive area). In any case I was relieved to find Stage 1 as I was not 100% sure that the puzzle at Stage 0 has a unique solution. The cache container is of an interesting type - I have never seen this type before. The task to be solved at Stage 1 was trivial for me - I knew the answer by heart.

So I continued quickly to Stage 2 which was easy to find. Fortunately, there were not many people around today. It might be hard to get out the intermediary stages unseen during the warmer season. From my point of view, some of the hideouts are rather daring and close to civilization. The task at Stage 2 was again trivial for me and again I knew the answer by heart.

The cache was again easy to find. The hideout was evident already from some distance. The box and its contents are in good condition.


Thanks for showing me a nice area where I have never been before. I guess that the area is even more interesting in spring when it is possible to watch the reawakening of nature and to watch more birds. Today I only saw a few ducks. Hopefully, the birds in this paradise will not be become effected by the avian influenca. The walk around the pond was nice, but rather short. To be honest, I would have preferred a longer walk and a shorter period spent at Stage 0 (which of course, it is up to each cacher to solve the puzzle there very quickly).

Although I did not like that much the puzzles at the intermediary stages because they either were boring for me (for very personal reasons) or not of my preferred type, I enjoyed the cache as it leads to a nice area and there are many things to be seen along the walk which I found more interesting than the puzzles.

Hopefully all stages of this cache will survive for a long time. It would be a pity if Stage 0 gets lost.

Hallo miteinander
Heute gegen 13:00 ist die dunkle, geländegängige Limousine (Wild-Wuggis) vorgefahren um das Team JulieWood_Rabat abzuholen. Danach ging es direkt Richtung Stage 0 des Harter Caches.

Bei Stage 0 angekommen, die Cache Box schnell gefunden, dank Aris (oder Dr. Torques ???) Spuren, dann haben unsere Probleme angefangen.

Das Puzzle zu lösen war nicht so einfach, weil irgendwie waren da immer zu viele Hände am Werk. Mit dem Ergebnis sind wir zu Stage 1 gefahren. Irgendwann drauf gekommen, dass wir uns verrechnet haben. Neu berechnet und zurück Richtung Ausgangspunkt. Stage 1 dann über Hint schnell gefunden, war aber etwas off.

Nach dem Lösen des Rätsel ging’s zu Stage 2, der nach unser Berechnung mitten am See sein sollte. Zurück zu Stage 0 und noch einmal geschaut, ob es eine andere Lösung geben würde. Wieder die gleichen Werte und die gleichen Koordinaten.

Stage 2 dann auf Glück mittels Hint gesucht und gefunden.

Nachdem die letzten Rätsel gelöst und die Berechnungen erledigt waren, haben wir den Cache schnell gefunden.

Es war ein schöner Nachmittagspaziergang mit Wild-Wuggis.
