Langenorter See

Do not be misled by the name as you won’t find a Lakeland like the Mueritz. The cache search takes less than 1 hour. The total distance (round-trip) is approx. 2.5 km. The above mentioned coordinates refer only to the location of the parking lot.

1. Parking
   Park your vehicle at the following coordinates:
   N 54° 07.111' E 012° 06.379. Here you will find a hint describing a maritime profession. You’ll need the position of certain letters within the alphabet (short: character value), as follows:
   b = the character value of the 2nd Letter of the profession
   s = the character value of the 4th Letter of the profession minus 4
   e = s - 2

   Once you arrived at N 54° 7.bs0' E 012° 06.e0s', you found Stage 1.

2. Stage 1 „Lost Place“
   During the GDR era, the former East German Army (NVA) used the place behind the fence as a helicopter landing pad. Later a well-known shipping line utilized the administration building. The building is still standing, though the place is empty. Here you’ll find a grey item marked „KVS bs-ffkb“

3. Stage 2 "on the way"
   This will be a slightly longer trip. If you have arrived, look for a small item. The coordinates are hidden in a box (micro). If you found the box, proceed to “final”.

4. Final "Langenorter Lake"
   This location is in close proximity to Stage 2 and should be easily spotted.
