If you take the shortest possible approach directly upwards to the cache you will see a most absurd climbing-wall (a natural rockwall adorned with artificial grips and additional steps cut into the rock). If you take the long way from Martahof (reaching the cache from above) you may see the tiny stag and the forgotten antenna.
If you come from above be careful and don't fall off the cliff. Some of the rocks there are secured against rockfall, better stay away from these rocks.
The cache is a 0.5-l-container

Eine alte Weisheit sagt: der kürzerste Weg ist nicht immer der beste.
Mir war nicht klar, was mich da erwartet. Um so größer und schöner dann die Überraschung, was es hier zu entdecken gibt. Erst nachher habe ich gesehen, wer die Ownerin ist, und da war es klar, dass das ein sehenswerter Ort mit einem gut zu findenden Cache ist.
Danke für das Zeigen des spektakulären Gates.

Ein wirklich laessiger Cache. Von unten kommend war der Untergrund ziemlich broeckelig. Nach dem Cache das Gate von oben genossen. Cooles Gebilde. Vielen Dank.

Bei der Hitze heute war der Aufstieg schon sehr schweißtreibend. Wir wurden aber mit einem tollen Felsgebilde belohnt. Als ich beim Cache kurz nicht aufpasste, begann meine abgestellte Fototasche (mit inkludierter Kamera) sich selbständig zu machen und kollerte in die Tiefe. Sie lag dann am Fuße der Kletterwand, war jedoch unversehrt. Eigentlich wollte ich ja die Felsen oben fotografieren, habe einen nochmaligen Aufstieg dann aber doch unterlassen. [;)]
War auf jeden Fall ein sehr abenteuerlicher und schöner Cache.

As a matter of course this had to be the opening of the todays cache tour - as more as we had been thinking about hiding a cache there a year ago, but unfortunately had failed the right access since the AMAP wasn´t able to pinpoint the accurate position.
Anyway, Gavriel has done it much better and the result is again one of the great little caches, containing everything geocaching is about.
Don´t miss to climb on top of the gate, there as sort of a small platform, offering a great view!
