Wer fürchtet sich vorm GPS
Achtung: Stage 1 sind nicht die Headerkoordinaten.
Kurzer Mystery in der Grazer Innenstadt für zwischendurch.
Stage1: Das Gesuchte Gebäude auf der Ost Seite.
Auf der linken Seite des Eingangs ist ein Schild mit einem Rollstuhl.
a = Anzahl der Buchstaben des Wortes unter dem Rollstuhl
b = Anzahl der Symbole auf dem Schild unter dem Rollstuhl
c = Hausnummer des gesuchten Objektes
d = a x b-c
e = c - b
f = b + a
Stage 2: N47° de,ddd E15° bc,afc
Die Seite, die von einem Tier bewacht wird (Westseite). Auf dem Schild sind 2 Jahreszahlen.
g = die Quersummer der oberen Zahl
h = die Quersumme der Unteren Zahl
i = h - bj = h – c
k = g / (c + b)
m = g / c

with AustrianRanger. At stage 2, while calculating the final
coordinates, we met Hügelwühler and together the cache was a quick find.

Die Koordinaten des 2.Stage mussten wir leider auch errechnen.
Den Cach bei der letzten Station aber sofort entdeckt.
Auch eine schöner cach für eine Kleine Runde am Abend.

Auch als Nicht-Grazer kann man schon mal Erfahrungen mit GPS machen, als Ex-Grazer(?) umso leichter.
Zu viert waren wir unterwegs. Einer rechnet, einer tippt, einer sucht, und eine findet.

Die Aufgaben waren schnell gelöst. Heute im zweiten Anlauf endlich auch den Cache gefunden. Beim ersten Mal vor ein paar Wochen war er ja offenbar gerade nicht da, wobei ich dort ehrlich gesagt auch nicht geschaut hatte.

When I noticed this cache yesterday I not even knew immediately where Stage 1 is located, but also could easily come up with the values for all variables at this Stage without having to visit the location. In order to find out where the cache is located, I had a look at the calculations at Stage 2 and realized that that stage can be skipped as well by taking the most likely values for the only two variables the value of which I could not fix.
Today in the late evening I visited the final location. Again there was no need to make use of a GPS-r. Waiting until my GPS-r gets a fix, would have taken me much longer than it took me to find the cache. It took me a little longer to retrieve it as I had to wait for a moment when no people were close-by. I was glad that I visited the location at night.
I am neither afraid of GPS nor do I understand the significance of this cache. For me it is just a boring city cache where the only nice feeling after having visited it is that I do not need to see it any longer on my list of nearest unfound caches.

When this cache went online I immediately had an idea about the location and - as usual - approached the location by bike. At stage 2 I met divingbrothers and together we went to the location of the final stage. The micro was quickly found. Oh, and we logged on the back of the logbook
