1. Start
You start at N 54° 1.233' E 012° 22.366'.
Walk south on the dirt road until you arrive at a barrier.
Count the number of white fields painted on the barrier – this number is A.
Walk to N54 00.[A+2]54 E12 22.2[A-1]1
2. Station: Junction No. 1
Nearby on the right hand side you should see a birch tree.
To the left starts a path through the forest. Follow the path approx. 380 m in direction 93°. Be aware that the way narrows shortly after you pass the hunter’s raised hide. It leads over a small levee through the wetland. The walking conditions will improve after you pass the wetland.
3. Station: Junction No. 2
From here take the bearing 193° and walk approx. 215 m in this direction. Now you should see the first boulder grave site. The cache is nearby.
4. Final
Have a close look at the grave site. The upper stone sits on how many stones? This name is B.
The cache is located at N54 00.[272,33 * B] E12 22.[82,14 * A].
Look around! Not far away you can see yet another boulder grave site of our ancestors.
I do recommend that you wear solid footwear. As the trail leads through the woods, you also might be exposed to tick bites.

der Vergangenheit haben mich schon immer interessiert. Die schöne Runde
war schnell gemeistert und wurde mit dem "Fund" belohnt. Leider zog
dann ein schweres Gewitter auf, so dass ich nicht langer verweilen

Erstmal ganz auf die Schnelle: Schöner Cache. Präzise ausgearbeitet.
Wir fanden es wirklich toll, dieser cache hatte genau unsere "Kragenweite". Ein nicht zu langer Spaziergang, also auch von unserer jüngsten noch zu bewältigen, aber schon ein wenig zu laufen. Gerade der Mittelteil mit dem uralten Niederwald hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch der Abschluss... aber wir wollen ja auch nicht zuviel verraten. Ebenso der Schwierigkeitsgrad: wir hätten sicher mehr verkraftet, aber doch Komplex genug um unterwegs für ein bisschen Kurzweil zu sorgen. Einzige Verbesserungsmöglichkeit vielleicht eine kurze Info zu dem "Graben" den wir unterwegs auch gesehen haben.
