For all tourists the city
„Güstrow“ had a specially idea…”The blue thread”. Now you can discover
the city without confusing map interpreting or people asking. The blue
thread means blue stones which you can find on the sidewalks of the
city. If you follow them you see the city in 4 hours by foot.
You need a lot of condition for this cache, because you have to search
13 stations at the clue thread to get the final-coordinates. You do not
have to pay entrance for the stations.
The cache is hidden at the edge of the city. You should go by car or cycle!

The startcoordinates leads you to a parking area near the castle, which you arrived by the Wallensteinstraße.
Station 1:
You can visit the Güstrower castle from 6 am until 8 pm in the
summertime. In the wintertime only until 7 pm. You can enter the area
during the opening times without problems. Only if you want to go inside
the castle you have to pay entrance.
Place yourself before the door to the “Staatliches Schlossmuseum”. How much dogs attacks the deer over you? E
Now go to the heart of the garden and look at the tunnel of sheets. How much windows (YY) and doors (ZZ) you can see now?
Station 2:
Leave the castle and go to the Ernst Barlach theatre. How many sculptures are standing between the museum and the theatre? H

Beside the theatre you can visit the Wollhalle. In which year was the last Wollmarkt here? XXXX

Den Vorlogs zufolge ist der Cache weg. Der Owner sollte hier dringend vor Ort erscheinen und die Lage überprüfen, bis dahin setze ich den Status auf "Momentan nicht verfügbar". Sobald der Cache erneuert wurde, so kann dieses Listing selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden. Sollte innerhalb eines Monats (13.05.2024) keine Rückmeldung erfolgen, werde ich den Cache archivieren.

Leider im Wald nichts entdeckt. Allerdings durch das fehlende Schild an der Station 11, fehlte die Info bezüglich der Errichtungszeit. Eine genaue Zahl konnte ich auch nicht online recherchieren, nur das Datum eines Bildes, könnte evtl. das Jahr zeigen. Von daher könnten die Koordinaten am Ende auch fehlerhaft sein. Schade. Es war dennoch eine schöne Tour durch die Stadt.

Der Spaziergang durch Güstrow war sehr interessant, und die einzelnen Punkte waren bis auf einen gut zu finden. Eine kleine Hilfe brachte mich dann in das Waldstück. Aber hier konnte ich nach einer Dreiviertelstunde des Suchens keinen Cache finden. Schade, aber es hat trotzdem Spaß gemacht, ihn zu suchen. Güstrow ist eine Reise wert. Das haben mir die Stationen des Caches eindrucksvoll vermittelt.

Nach den Vorarbeiten war heute nun das Finale dran und dabei haben sich Fahrrad und Wanderstiefel (für den letzten Teil) sehr bewährt. Die etwas eingegrabene Dose konnte ich schon erhennen, ehe noch das GPS-Gerät seinen Piepser von sich gab - saubere Koordinaten! Wie schon im Vorgängerlog angesprochen, bringt die Station11 an der Stadtmauer kein Ergebnis - keine kleine Tafel und kein Tierchen. Ist aber kein Beinbruch: Die Stadtmauerjahreszahl läßt sich auch anders ermitteln; der Owner erwähnt dazu ja im "Serviceteil" der Beschreibung eine geeignete Einrichtung.
Dessen ungeachtert ist dieser Multicache mit sehr viel Liebe aufgebaut und lässt den Stadtrundgng noch mit einer Wanderung in schöner Umgebung erfolgreich ausklingen. Schade eigentlich, dass dieser Cache so selten angelaufen wird; der letzte Eintrag im Logbuch war vom August des letzten Jahres.
Von mir gibt's auf jeden Fall eine große Empfehlung 
und ein besonderes Dankeschön!

Haben letzte Woche die Tour in Güstrow absolviert. Leider haben wir die Jahreszahl nicht gefunden an der die Mauer erbaut wurde. Nach eigenen Recherchen konnten wir die Jahreszahl dann doch herausfinden und haben uns heute auf die Suche nach dem Cache begeben. 👏🏻 Nachdem wir uns dann fünf mal im Kreis gedreht haben, weil sich das GPS Gerät nicht sicher war in welche Richtung wir laufen sollen, haben wir den Schatz dann doch entdecken können. Vielen vielen Dank für das tolle Rätsel. Dieser Cache ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Das war ein langer Weg bis zum Ziel. Doch bei einbrechender Dunkelheit mit Taschenlampenlicht haben wir das Final gut finden können. Danke für die tolle Cache-Idee

Die einzelnen Stationen wurden bei mehreren Besuchen nebenbei mit abgearbeitet.
Nach
Errechnen der Finalkoords musste erst mal eine Anfrage an den Owner
raus, ob das denn stimmen könnte. Es stimmte und die Dose wurde nach
kurzer Suche gefunden.

Ein wirklich genialer Cache. Man sieht tatsächlich die gesamte Innenstadt und muss einmal auf Dinge achten, auf die man sonst nicht achtet.
Auch der finale Standort des Cache ist wirklich gut. Ich musste ein Weilchen suchen, jedoch anhand der Cachegröße kann man sich den Versteckort gut erahnen.
Hab alles mit dem Mountainbike abgefahren und hatte auf dem Weg zum Cache meinen Spaß ;) Zeitlich bin ich dadurch besser weg gekommen: etwa 1,5 bis 2 h.

am Brunnen vor dem Tore da haben wir uns vertan 8-) War aber auch direkt nach der Mittagsrast, vielleicht war zuviel Blut im Magen und zu wenig im Kopf?! Naja, noch mal nachgeschaut und laaaaaange gerechnet. Dann die Erkenntnis, wow, der Final ist wahrlich weit weg, aber dafür fanden wir das Versteck eigentlich sehr gelungen. Auf die weite Entfernung des Finals sollte man vielleicht in der Beschreibung hinweisen, ich glaube das ist es was die vorigen Logs andeuten wollen ?!? ;-) Uns hat er auf jeden Fall sehr gut gefallen und Güstrow haben wir jetzt wahrlich in allen Facetten gesehen!
