Im Rahmen des Kraftwerkbaus Gössendorf wurde entlang der Mur ein neuer Speicherkanal errichtet. Darüber wurde auf einem Teil der Strecke eine neue Murpromenade - "Murpromenade Graz-Süd" - mit Aussichtsplattformen, Sitzsteinen, Sitznischen und "Sonnendecks" errichtet.
Länge: 1,2 km
Kosten: 500.000 EUR
Dieser Cache soll Interessierten diese Promenade näherbringen und möglicherweise zum ein oder anderen Spaziergang entlang der Mur einladen.

Dieser Cache konnte heute von Pimi1 und mir beim zweiten Versuch problemlos gefunden und geloggt werden; beim ersten Versuch vor etwa zwei Wochen hatte sich aufgrund des schönen Wetters genau dort ein Mugglepärchen breitgemacht und machte keine Anstalten, von dort weiterzuspazieren...
Eine ruhige und entspannende Gegend... herrlich!

Am weg zum nächsten Abschnitt von RUG mitgenommen ;-)
An dem Tag war's allerdings ein Unterwasser-Cache und die Dose war leider nur wasserfest nicht -dicht.

I got used to that the new aj-gps caches do not appeal to me, so this one did not come as disappointment. Caches like this serve only one purpose for me, namely have a break and get on my bicycle. So it happened also for this cache. Unlike others I do not like the new look of the area and preferred the old one more natural one and moreover I'm against the new powerplants close to Graz. There are certainly much more nicer areas for a walk along the Mur than along the Murfelderstrasse.
I found the cache after first inspecting wrong places. I would not like to search for this cache on a sunny weekend day.

PS - note added: The cache at least survived one clumsy and hectic person, namely myself.
