Winterthur main station is a popular stopover for commuters. Many change here from bike to train or vice versa. Free bicycle sheds are rather rare, if you do not want to pay for a place in a Velostation - it is expected to expose your bike to the weather.

The the bicycle traffic from the entire western part of the city seeks parking in the bike sheds at the Rudolfstrasse, as a safe east-west passing for bikes still has to be build. Despite of this, the infrastructure of the bike sheds there is no longer maintained significantly. Even big holes in the roofs (like the one near the cache) remain unfixed for years.

Point zero is heavily frequented, depending on the time of day. Muggles may watch you on foot, by bike, by bus and through train windows. The building on the other street side may also hide watchers. Please proceed VERY discreetly and take the cache box several steps away for logging.

Ich mache hier zu: Zuviel Muggelstress beim Heben, zuwenig Belohnung dafür. Lieber arbeite ich am schon seit Monaten geplanten "Vom Velo zur Bahn #03" an einer etwas weniger exponierten Stelle am Bahnhof.

Danke allen Besuchern. Exakt die Hälfte hat sogar online geloggt - ja ich meine Dich, Prulin ;-).

Juhui! Ein FTF nach knapp 4 Monaten. Auf dem Nachhauseweg noch eine viertelstunde Zeit gehabt bis das Postauto nach Hause fuhr. Diese Zeit genutzt um diesem Cache einen Besuch abzustatten... Vielen Dank fürs verstecken!
