I recognized that in the city center of Tanger old cannons are placed at different locations. These cannons were mainly used on
sailing battleships. The cannons are cast from bronze and have some lavish ornaments. All cannons are muzzle loader. This
means the cannons are loaded from the front with gunpowder and the projectile. The projectile was in most cases a iron cannon
ball. By a tiny hole in the back of the cannon the gunpowder was ignited and the cannon fired. Most of the free accessible
cannons in Tanger are 32 pounder. This is the weight of the projectile the cannon is able to fire.
This virtual multicache will guide you to 4 places where these cannons are free accessible. There are some more places with
cannons but not accessible to the public.
The stages are marked as waypoints. My recommendation is to visit them in the given order but this is not mandatory. At each
stage you have to find one or two numbers which are needed for the password in order to log this virtual multicache.

3 weeks of holidays together with TedRedhair. Day 12 of 22 was dedicated to a daytrip from Tarifa to Tanger in Morocco. During our visit we also attempted this virtual multi, visiting all the cannons indicated by the waypoints and collecting the answers.

We assembled the password and now I am proudly able to log this cache as an FTF in Morocco - more than 6 years after publish. Wow!

Thanks for the cannon-tour!
