Description
HAVFRUE
HAVFRUE ("Mermaid") is a sculpture made by the sculptor Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen. The original was made in 1921 and now it is placed for normal in the National Museum of Copenhagen. In the year 2009 this bronze copy was installed in front of the Royal Library, about 2,5 km distance to "the little mermaid", the landmark of Copenhagen.
The location of this scuplture of the mermaid is based on the fact that one thought in "old times" that in this area of the port have been located a lot of mermaids. Because of that it was called "Mermaid Ground".
To log this virtual cache, please attach a picture of the mermaid with you or something that belongs to you (to prove that you have been there).
In the socket of the sculpture there is a little plate with some informationl. You will get the paswort by taking the first letters of the words in the last line (uppercase/lowercase like written) and attach the number of these words (cipher). Example: DidkM5

On a trip through Denmark, together with HaPuWaBä, we visited so far Ribe, Tønder, Kolding, Christiansfeld, Jelling, Aarhus, the Mose Bjerge, Ebeltoft and Odense ... then we crossed the Great Belt and visited Sorø and Roskilde, Skodsborg and Humlebæk ... all Locations with great attractions.
Today Kopenhagen was on the agenda with the Tivoli, a Canal/Harbor boat trip and a loooong stroll through the city in general with several Labs, Virtuals, Tradis, Mysteries and of course ... this OC ... 🤗.

Der Sommerurlaub führte mich auch nach Kopenhagen. Hier an der kleinen Hafenfreu fand ich auch guten Kaffee und einen schönen Pausenplatz. Danke fürs Herlocken!

Kurz vor Midsommer führte mich ein Konzert nach Kopenhagen.
Am nächsten Tag habe ich mir noch einmal ein wenig die Stadt angeschaut. Dabei bin ich natürlich auch bei der kleinen Meerjungfrau. Und der Ort ist wirklich nicht zufällig gewählt. Während ich so am Wasser entlang schlenderte, entdeckte ich diverse leichtest bekleidete junge Frauen die sich sonnten.
Vielen Dank für den Cache.

Found this on a weekend trip to Kopenhagen. Nice to see another mermaid here, although the "original" one looks a bit prettier ;-) Thanks for the cache!

Bei meiner Fahrt nach Schweden mit dem Zug hatte ich einige Stunden Aufenthalt in Kopenhagen und ging so auf Streifzug. Dabei kam ich auch bei der Skulptur vorbei. Danke für's Zeigen.

Als ich zu hause mir diesen Cache angesehen habe war ich erst etws ratlos ab der Frage wo sich die Statue befinded. Bei den Koordinaten oder bei der Ortsangabe? Mit etwas DuckDuckGoen fand ich den rechten Ort aber schnell.
Das ist mein erster in Dänemark gefundener Cache. Die Mütze ging später wirklich noch zu den Meermenschen: Sie wurde mir von einer Brücke ins Wasser gewinded. Keine Chance den Müll wieder raus zu fischen :-(
