The North Cape (in German: Nordkapp with two "p's") is often mistakenly referred to as the northernmost point of mainland Europe. In fact, the North Cape is "only" the northernmost point of mainland Europe that can be reached by car.
Just west of the North Cape, on the Knivskjellodden headland, lies the real North Cape (in German: Nordkap with one "p"), which is arguably the northernmost point of mainland Europe, but can only be reached by hiking (which can be dangerous depending on the weather).
Most tourists up here visit the North Cape (with two "p's") and the Midnight Sun Monument.
To log this cache, take a photo of yourself or a personal item showing either the Midnight Sun Monument or the North Cape Hall.

Ein Traum wurde endlich wahr. Eine Seereise entlang der Küste Norwegens.
Wie schön, wenn dann auch noch das Hobby seinen Anteil an diesem schönen Erlebnis hat.

Nach einer sehr langen Autoreise, haben wir es endlich geschafft. Welch ein Glück, dass es seit diesem Jahr auch einen Cache von OC hier gibt.

Wir haben das Nordkapp im Rahmen einer Elektroauto-Challenge besucht.
Wir sind mit unserem vollelektrischen Cachemobil von Deutschland durch Polen, das Baltikum, Finnland und Norwegen über den Jahreswechsel 2024/2025 zum Nordkapp gefahren...
