On a fateful day in August 1685 AD, a Mr. Lebküchner from Schweinfurt is said to have been murdered at these coordinates. A conciliation cross was erected here in his memory. Unfortunately, the left crossbeam of the cross was lost at some point in the past. Although the beam was replaced during renovation work, the actual inscription on it could not be restored:

ha encontrado el geocache
Heute das schöne Wetter genutzt um hier mal vorbeizuschauen. Das Rätsel konnte schnell gelöst und die Dose problemlos gefunden werden. Vielen Dank fürs Herführen an diesen interessanten Ort den ich noch garnicht kannte.

Ganz schön was los am Ostersonntag hier im Wald. Kein Wunder bei dem tollen Wetter. Enjie und ich waren hier und haben einen TB hier gelassen. Gute Reise!
