Serien SightSeeingVirtualCaches
SightSeeingVirtualCaches er virtuelle cacher som viser dig seværdigheder. Cacherne i denne serie er OC-Only og kan kun logges med et kodeord der skal findes på stedet. Du må meget gerne vedhæfte et foto, men det er intet krav. Du finder flere cacher i serien SightSeeingVirtuals med denne søgning

På arabisk betyder Djemaa el-Fna noget i retning af De Dødes Plads. Navnet stammer fra Almohadernes tid, hvor stedet blev brugt til henretninger, og hoveder på spid prydede pladsen.
I dag er pladsen værdsat af både turister og lokale på grund af sin orientalske atmosfære. Om aftenen er der gang i den med tryllekunstnere, slangetæmmere, sandsigersker, boksekampe, musikere og madboder. Umiddelbart ved siden af pladsen ligger souken (markedet).
Kulturrummet på Djemaa el-Fna-pladsen blev i 2001 som det første sted i verden indskrevet på UNESCOs liste over Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
For at logge denne virtual skal du blot gå til koordinaterne og finde UNESCO-tavlen. Kodeordet er det sidste ord fra linjen, der starter med ordet "serpents" (i den franske tekst).
