Description
About the location
One of the most remarkable natural monuments on the island of Krk is this magnificent European nettle tree (Celtis australis). With its broad canopy providing welcome shade, it is considered one of the oldest and largest trees on the island and has long been a popular resting place for hikers and cyclists.
According to local legend, the tree was planted around 1058 by the Croatian king Petar Krešimir IV., who is said to have found refuge here. Whether this story is historically accurate remains uncertain, but it has been passed down through generations and adds a special charm to this remarkable place.
Just a few steps away lies a small pond that provides habitat for numerous animal species. If you're lucky, you may even spot one of the rare European pond turtles, a protected species in Croatia.
Legend or not, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
The Cache
Right next to the tree you'll find an information board telling its story.
The last word on the information board is your logging password.
Please also attach a photo of yourself or an item you brought with you at the tree or the nearby pond.

Philosophiefrage! ;)
Der Cache ist bewusst nicht als Tradi, sondern als DriveIn-Cache kategorisiert, weil es sich um einen DriveIn-Virtual handelt. Das möchte ich mit der Kategorie entsprechend hervorheben. Außerdem ist bei der Größe ausdrücklich „kein Behälter“ angegeben – insofern sollte eigentlich erkennbar sein, dass hier keine Dose zu erwarten ist.
Ein weiterer Grund für die Einstufung ist die Abgrenzung zu Safari-Caches für Statistik-Cacher: Für Safaris gibt es kein eigenes Symbol, sie werden daher in der Regel ebenfalls als Virtual klassifiziert.
Generell freue ich mich über Anregungen übrigens am meisten per Mail – die Logeinträge sind ja eher für die Cache-Erlebnisse als für längere Diskussionen gedacht. ;)

Was ich bei diesem Tradi nicht verstehe ist, dass es ein virtueller Cache als Tradi ist, der eventuell sogar eine Dose hat!
Hier sollte also auf virtuellen Cache umgestellt werden wenn das ein Cache mit Passwort ohne Dose ist!
