The Araburg in 799 m above sea level is the highest located castle ruin of Lower Austria. You can reach it by walking for one hour from railway station Kaumberg.If you arrive by car, leave it at the parking-site:

From there you need about 20 min. to walk uphill, following a marked path. The ruin (with a small inn) and the view from the lookout are worth to be seen. (open: 1.april – end of october, tues. and wed. closed; entrance fee 1€; look: http://www.kaumberg.at/seiten/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=40

To find the cache it is not necessary to enter the castle.
