After your short hike through the Philosophenweg and Wolfsschlucht, you can find a nice view to Heuberg and to Fischbach. Also you can take a bit of a closer view to the state of the securment of the former quarry. Apart from this, I would assume, that this path was used by the vehicles of the old quarry to access the upper parts of the quarry.
The most preferable path to this cache is to walk upwards on the Philosophenweg up to the Furt am Philosophenweg. From there you can take a bearing to the cache and follow the almost straight way to the cache. For the last 80m you will have to walk through the woods and leave the trail. The cache is hidden at the front, north-eastern end of this area. Please don't climb up or even cross the edge, the cache is hidden in the safe area.
Please put the cache back excactly the way you found it.

Auf dem Weg von der Wolfsschlucht Richtung Madron haben wir hier noch
einen kleinen Abstecher zum Aussichtspunkt gemacht. Ausgeschwärmt und es
hat nicht lange gedauert, bis einer Erfolg melden konnte.

LLSmurf hatte mich eingeladen, ihn auf seiner Wartungsrunde zu begleiten - so hat der Spaziergang hierher natürlich noch mehr Spass gemacht.
Da mein Garmin hier keinen Weg hatte, dachte ich, ich umgehe die Wildnis grossräumig... aber von oben war dann klar, dass unter mir doch noch ein Weg ist - mit LLSmurf drauf, der natürlich besser und einfacher voran kam als ich am Hang auf all dem Herbstlaub. Also wieder ein Stückl nach unten... auf den Weg... der, zugegebenermassen, recht zugewachsen ist, aber man kommt eigentlich gut durch.
Die Aussicht am Ende ist wunderschoen - ok, die Überreste vom Steinbruch sind vielleicht nicht schön, aber doch sehr beeindruckend - und wenn man Richtung Heuberg schaut, dann hat sich der Weg doch gelohnt.

◇◇◇▪︎◇◇◇ Wieder unterwegs in schöner Gegend. Dabei auch an "Heubergblick" vorbeigekommen und die Dose rasch gefunden. Der Eintrag ins Logbuch erfolgte.

Ich logge manchmal zeitnah, manchmal später, manchmal gar nicht, denn mein Augenmerk liegt bei der Bewegung 🏃🏻♀️, dem Entdecken toller Orte in der Natur 🏞 und dem Erlebnis unter freiem Himmel 🌅 und nicht dem Texte schreiben und nicht dem Mitteilen privater Dinge.
Halte ich es für notwendig, etwas zum Cache zu Erwähnen, geschieht das am Anfang bzw. teile ich dies dem Owner direkt mit.
Favoritenpunkte vergebe ich bei besonderem Gefallen, situationsabhängig.

Zusammen mit m_seni machten wir nach der Wolfsschlucht noch einen Abstecher zum Heubergblick. Wirklich schöner Aussichtspunkt, wenn auch der Zugang zur Zeit sehr abenteuerlich ist (siehe Foto)
Die Dose konnte gut gefunden werden.
