CIMETIÈRE POUR PERSONNES NON-IDENTIFIÉES
Il s’agit d’un endroit où repose les corps de personnes non-identifiées. Ce genre de cimetière n’est pas propre à Sylt. En effet, plusieurs villes côtières possèdent ce genre de cimetière où sont enterrés, d’après les rites chrétiens, les corps des victimes échouées sur le rivage suite à un naufrage ou une noyade.
Le nom de ce cimetière s’explique de par l’impossibilité d’identifier et d’inhumer les corps des victimes dans leurs villes ou pays d’origine. Ce type de cimetière ont été aménagé au 18iè voire au milieu du 19iè siècles et se trouvent naturellement surtout à la côte.
Ce cimetière fut créé en 1854 à l’initiative de Wulf Hansen Decker, inspecteur des plages. Le premier corps fut enterré le 04 octobre 1855, il s’agissait du cadavre d’un marin rejeté par la mer le 03 octobre 1855 sur la côte du Westerland. La dernière inhumation se fit le 02 novembre 1905. Durant ces 50 années, 23 corps rejetés sur les plages du Westerland ont été enterré ici. 15 autres corps trouvés sur les côtes de Randtumer et 15 sur les côtes de Hörnumer ont trouvé ici leurs derniers repos.
Le fait que le métier de pompes funèbres appartient au secteur des métiers artisanaux en Allemagne, conforme à l’annexe B2 du règlement des métiers artisanaux, est peu connu par le grand public. Les apprentis des pompes funèbres absolvent une formation en alternance (centre de formation et entreprise) de trois ans.
Le 01 janvier 2010 est entré en application la règlementation de CE en pompes funèbres. Cette formation, généralisée et uniforme dans tous les lands, est règlementée par l’arrêté du ministère de l’économie. Ceci représente in fine, après une formation de trois ans, une perspective de qualification supplémentaire pour tous les diplômés.

Bitte bei Statusänderungen, die auf geocaching.com durchgeführt werden, auch immer hier den Status ändern. Dieser Cache ist auf geocaching.com (GC49MGT) archiviert und hier nicht mit dem Attribut "OC only" versehen. Das letzte Funddatum liegt lange zurück und das Ownerlog auf geocaching.com läßt darauf schließen, dass der Cache nicht weiter existieren soll. Aus diesem Grunde archiviere ich ihn auch hier. Sollten sich später neue Aspekte ergeben, so kann dieses Listing durch den Owner selbständig über ein "kann gesucht werden"-Log reaktiviert werden.
