To the uninitiated, this is just a slab of granite approximately 4m long and about 50 cm high. But the legend behind this stone is intriguing indeed. Called the "Devil's Stone", it is located right next to the entrance portal of St. Mary's Church in Marienkirchhof. The little devil sitting on it would be very pleased if you could pay it a visit.

Logging requirements:
Take a picture of the little devil that includes your GPS or a personal object and attach it to your log (see example photo below).

Attention:
In order to log this Safari cache you need a password. This can be found on the bronze plaque at the end of stone there is a bronze plaque (see photo).

Bei unserem viel zu kurzen Besuch in Lübeck konnten wir auch dieses Teufelchen besuchen. Er war viel von Touristen umringt. Wir hatten für unseren Fotolog einen kurzen Moment der Ruhe gefunden. Gleich darauf kam aber eine Reisegruppe von über Hundert Jugendlichen an, die sich alle auf diese Teufelsfigur stürzten... Da verzogen wir uns dann gerne.

Da habe ich den Teufel doch tatsächlich umarmt und ihm dann auch noch dreist ans Knie gefasst - hoffentlich hat das kein Nachspiel... ;-)

Ein viel besuchtes Objekt würden wir sagen 😂😉
Hat ein bisschen gedauert, bis wir uns endlich zum Teufel durchgearbeitet haben. 🙈
Aber gut, wichtig ist das Foto... Und das haben wir souverän ergattert ✅
