Gora Sosnova 178m

Góra Sosnowa is one of the ...unassuming yet historically and scenically interesting spots in the vicinity of Lubin. At a height of 178 m, the hill may not rank among Lower Silesia’s major peaks, but it still offers a lovely view of the forests, fields, and rolling landscape surrounding the town.

The name "Sosnowa" refers to the pine trees that have defined this hill for decades. The area was formerly used for agriculture and later partially reforested; today, it is a quiet spot for walks, short hikes, and—of course—geocachers who enjoy venturing off the beaten path.

Access is via easily walkable forest paths. The final stretch follows a narrower trail that can be somewhat slippery when wet. Once at the top, you’ll find a peaceful spot filled with the sounds of nature, the occasional bird call, and a touch of "lost nature" atmosphere.

The cache is a small, classically camouflaged container—easy to reach but not immediately visible. Please make sure to leave the area exactly as you found it. Stealth isn't required, as people rarely pass by here.
