The cache "Planetenweg Warnemünde - außen" is the sequel to the cache "Planetenweg Warnemünde - innen".
A planet trail is a particular type of trail where the trail is along a scaled model of the solar system. Usually, the planets and the sun will be set up at the proper scale in size and distance along the track.
Here in Warnemünde, a scale of 1:1 000 000 000 can be found where a planet trail extends over six miles, when Pluto is included (Pluto is now no longer considered a planet). Next to each miniature planet there is an information table with important information such as diameter, rotation around the sun, temperature, solar and earth distance.
In this very commonly used scale, the movement of a wanderer at 5 km/h (about 1.4 m/s) is scaled to more than four times the speed of light, which corresponds to 30 cm/s. He/she starts here with the outer part at the Jupiter, the largest planet with 143 mm diameter - which is 550 meters away from the sun. After another 648 meters follows the Saturn sphere of 120 millimetres, its rings would reach a diameter of nearly a meter. Until here, the wanderer has reached a total of 1.427 kilometres. To Uranus (51 mm in size) there are another 1.444 kilometres to go. After further 1.627 km, there are then Neptune with 49 mm diameter. For reaching Pluto, now no longer recognized as a planet but still to be found on most planet trails, there are again 1.411 km - it is the smallest ball on the trail with 2.3 mm diameter. The planet trail ends here now after almost 6 km (corresponding to approx. 5.4 light hours).
All information tables are located on the beach promenade of Warnemünde and the paths going on to the west from there. Use the information (numbers) for the target coordinates on the panels, they can be extracted there by filling in the underlines (_) or answering the questions.
The final location is a few hundred meters away from the last table of Pluto.

Wunderbares Wetter zum cachen also ging es heute mal wieder raus an die frische Luft.
🚩 Der Start ins Abenteuer
Heute stand mal wieder ein besonderes Highlight auf dem Programm: Ein Multicache! Ich liebe es, wenn man nicht einfach nur von A nach B rennt, sondern sich die Koordinaten und den Weg zum Ziel erst richtig erarbeiten muss. Nachdem das GPS kalibriert und die Wanderschuhe geschnürt waren, ging es voller Vorfreude los zum Startpunkt.
🧩 Die Stationen & Rätsel
Die einzelnen Stationen waren wirklich klasse ausgearbeitet. Es ist immer wieder faszinierend zu sehen, wie viel Herzblut die Owner in die Wegführung und die Aufgabenstellungen stecken.
Die Aufgaben: Waren fair, logisch und gut lösbar – genau die richtige Mischung aus "kurz innehalten" und "zügig weiterkommen".
Die Strecke: Hat mich an Ecken geführt, die ich ohne dieses Hobby wahrscheinlich nie entdeckt hätte. Natur, Architektur und kleine Details am Wegesrand machten die Runde zu einem echten Erlebnis.
🏁 Das Finale & Die Dose
Nachdem alle Variablen gesammelt und die finalen Koordinaten berechnet waren (zum Glück ohne Rechenfehler!), hieß es: Ab zum Final! Das GPS führte mich punktgenau zum Zielobjekt.
Das Versteck war super gewählt – sicher vor Muggelblicken, aber für Cacher-Augen mit dem richtigen Riecher gut zu finden. Die Dose selbst ist in einem top Zustand, das Logbuch trocken und sauber. So macht Geocaching Spaß!
✍️ Mein Fazit
Ein rundum gelungener Multi, der mir eine tolle Zeit im Freien beschert hat. Vielen Dank an den Owner für das Auslegen, die Hege und Pflege dieses Caches und natürlich für das Zeigen dieser schönen Runde. Solche Caches sind das Salz in der Suppe unserer Community!

Heute habe ich die Infos im Listing so angepasst, dass sie zu den neuen Tafeln (vor Ort oder online) passen.

Hier ist mit dem Austausch der Tafeln gegen neue so einiges von den Machern des Planetenwegs verbockt worden.
Die neuen Schilder sind bis zum Uranus noch OK, aber dann ist alles durcheinander. Das kann ich leider nicht ändern, aber ich muss die Informationsgewinnung für den Cache überarbeiten. Eventuell ergibt ein Besuch der letzten Tafel auch keinen Sinn mehr - und eine Verlegung des Finales ist angeraten.
Bis dahin deaktiviere ich den Cache erst einmal. Wer schon die Finalkoordinaten ermittelt hat (z.B. mit Informationen aus dem Internet), kann das Finale natürlich trotzdem aufsuchen und loggen.

Heute auf einer Tour auch alle äußern Planten gesucht und gefunden. Vielen Dank für das Erstellen des Cache. Die Dose wurde auch gut gefunden. 👍😀 Sehr schöne Runde.
