Bray Head Cross
Bray Head ist ein markanter Hügel an der Ostküste Irlands, nahe der Stadt Bray im County Wicklow. Er erhebt sich 241 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Irische See. Der Wanderweg "Bray Head Cliff Walk" ist bei Einheimischen und Touristen gleichermaßen beliebt. Auf dem Gipfel befindet sich ein großes Steinkreuz, das 1950 errichtet wurde. Von dort aus kann man bei klarem Wetter bis nach Dublin blicken. Die Region ist bekannt für ihre natürliche Schönheit und reiche Tierwelt. Bray Head war zudem Drehort für mehrere Filme und zieht jährlich zahlreiche Besucher an.
Um diesen Cache zu loggen, mache bitte zwei Fotos. Eins mit einem Gegenstand, welcher deinen Namen trägt und dem Kreuz und eins mit der irischen See im Hintergrund.

Szalony weekend w Dublinie w gronie dziesięciu przyjaciół z Polski – dzień drugi!
Klasyka gatunku – obowiązkowa wyprawa na Bray Head. Podejście potrafi rozgrzać, ale widok z góry wynagradza wszystko – morze rozciągające się po horyzont, wiatr we włosach i ta satysfakcja, że właśnie tu trzeba było dziś być. No i oczywiście cel geocachingowy – GC43 – odnaleziony. To jednak był dopiero początek. Po zejściu nie było mowy o odpoczynku – ruszyliśmy dalej. Co chwilę ktoś wskazywał ciekawy detal, kolorową fasadę, klimatyczny pub czy kawiarenkę. Zwiedziliśmy kolejny kawał Dublina, wirtuale, erfy, kesze tradycyjne. I tak uliczka za uliczką odkrywaliśmy miasto zielonej koniczyny.
Gdy licznik kroków dawno przekroczył rozsądną granicę, przyszedł czas na zasłużoną nagrodę. Irlandzki gulasz – gęsty, treściwy, pachnący ziołami i wolno duszonym mięsem – smakował jak najlepsza możliwa decyzja tego dnia. Na deser postanowiliśmy jeszcze podjechać na kilkukilometrową polanę z mnóstwem dzikiej zwierzyny w pakiecie. Zmęczenie było przyjemne, nogi dawały o sobie znać, ale głowy pełne były widoków i śmiechu. Drugi dzień to kilometry, wiatr, wysokość i poczucie, że wspólne wędrowanie buduje wspomnienia mocniej niż jakikolwiek plan. Dziękuję za kesza, pozdrawiam z Polski i zapraszam do Wrocławia!

Vacation! Together with my beloved MiriDeLuxe, we're going on a tour to Great Britain and Ireland... looking for old and special caches.
After our stops in London and Wales we went to Dublin by the ferry. And here we're... main target is GC43 of course but we still have time to go around this and also to explore more of Ireland.
