Waterfall of the river Hérisson: The Great Jump
The river Hérisson forms a number of beautiful and also spectacular waterfalls. The Grand Saut (Great Jump) waterfall is one of the higher waterfalls in the area which is called "Cascade du hérisson".
The hike
To reach the location you have to hike through the beautiful valley. It is from the western parking spot about 20 minutes hike uphill and from the eastern parking spot downhill about 40 minutes. If you like to visit the whole valley back and forth including enjoying the sights, plan for 3-5 hours. You can however easily spend a full day here. The only downside is that it can get crowded.
Hike recommendation
There is a amazing path which is used by less people:
On the way up follow the path along the river at the additional way point and visit the cave "Grotte Lacuzon". After follow the path to behind the waterfall and continue to the platform where you find the cache.
On the way down go for the cache and then follow the path towards the waterfall, go behind it and then to the cave.
The cache
The cache is a small plastic container with a magnet attached. Please don't place heavy stuff in it.

trouvé la géocache
Schneller fund auf einer schönen Wanderung an den Wasserfällen. Der Dose geht es gut, trotz dass sie nicht so oft gefunden wird. Danke an den Owner fürs Auslegen dieses OC's die gibt es hier nicht so oft! Und dann auch noch ein OC only, das ist echt was besonderes hier!!! Danke!!!

Manno, der einzige OC-Cache weit und breit, und wir sind fast dran..
Der Weg zum Wasserfall und zur Höhle ist wohl nicht mehr ganz offiziell, das habe wir uns bei dem Massenbetrieb heute nicht getraut.
C'est dommage!
